Gematria of Samantha Power
President Obama has stuck it to Israel again by choosing Samantha Power as UN Ambassador.
See Arutz Sheva, Fox News, The Blaze, and comments at Dov Bar Leib's blog to see who this woman is and what she has said about Israel in the past.
Wikipedia spells Samantha Power's name like this:
סמנתה פאוור
The gematria equals 848.
848 is also the gematria of:
If America forgets thee, O Jerusalem ...

Are there any gematrias for Rabbi Stav's name?
Strange it begins with a samach.
Not really, Neshama, this little red headed witch from Ireland has a soul root in the feminine side of the SM, the Samech Mem kel. She is just doing what she is supposed to be doing as the Samkel's Disciple at the End of Days. Just call her Sammy.
I guess that would make her that Mother of Demons that you mentioned on my blog with the same shoresh as Laylah with a Tav added.
The female spirit of the yetzer hara revolves around Sheker haChein, charm and grace that demand that Popularity be worshiped as an avodah zarah. This seems like what Samantha Power is all about. She feeds on the fact that the entire world hates us. It will make trying to destroy us a "popular" event.
847 דוד מלך ישראל חי חי וקיים
and dov, samantha comes from the fem of shmuel; her name means shmuel -poor, i.e. a poor man's version of shmuel. i guess you could say to what shmuel was, only in the sitra achra.
If you're finding gematrias with 848, there are a couple others that I noticed, but not sure how they fit exactly:
חנך לנער על פי דרכו
חייב איניש לבסומי בפוריא
סתיו = 476; the gematria of the three levels of the secret of kol hator: אליהו חנוך שם in the secret of the derech etz chaim. [kolhator;midrash muflah]
the gematrias point out the mazal revelation and the tekufot that we are in.
Well Shmuel HaNavi was "raised from the dead" by the Witch of Eindor at request of Shaul HaMelekh. Our resident Witch of Eindor is Tzippy Livni. But I am confused about the name, and how we know if it is meant to be spelled with a Sin, Shin, or a Samech. I would think that if it were a Shin, then it would come as an Aramaic word with a tha (Tav Aleph) suffix, like mashkantha. Then her name would be Shemen, as in Oily, with a tha suffix. like Popeye's girlfriend.
Yet, there are many instances when historically or even mystically, the letter Sin has "evolved" into a Samech. We know that the Satan begins with a Sin, but the mazal for his favorite month Tamuz is Sartan with a Samech. Don't let the reish fool you. The Sin Tet Nun Shoresh is in a sense the same as the Samech Tet Nun shoresh. And then there is Uncle Sam, you know the guy who wants you, with his finger pointed at your face? Are you going to tell me that he is really sweet and kind Uncle Shmu'el? Or does he have a more nefarious motive when Uncle Sam tells Klal Yisrael to jump. Don't we often ask, how high??
And I almost forgot the following. The letter Samech does not appear AT ALL in the entire first perek of the Torah in Bereishit. Somehow, HaShem manages to tell the story of the Creation of the World without a Samech. pretty amazing? especially since we are told that first G-d created Eth (Aleph through Tav) before He created the Universe. What gives? Why did He avoid using a Samech? Shin is all over the place starting with the word Bereishit and then Shamayim in the first verse. So where do we first see the Samech in the Torah, and more importantly for what purpose was the letter Samech created if it is not even used in Ma'aseh Bereishit? When Adam is sent into a slumber, and HaShem removes one of his ribs, He then closes up Adam's flesh. The words used there are VaYisgor Bassar Tachtenah (And he closed (the open wound) with flesh in its place (in place of the rib))! There it is VaYisgor with a Samech. Now that surely took a long time to make an appearance, but we see that the letter samech comes to allow for the woman that is being formed to be bone of Adam's bone and flesh from Adam's flesh.
I am a bit tired, and the rest of this Dvar Torah is a bit risky. So please complete it. I will try to finish it on Motzei Shabbat.
