Cosmic Clock Now at 12:45 and its Significance

Visitors to this blog via a computer browser (as opposed to a phone browser) may have noticed that the Cosmic Clock on the right panel of the page had recently turned to 12:45 PM Friday afternoon.  This is quite significant.

I'm aware that there are those who disagree, but I consider Hatzot to be 5751 - not 5750.  This is because there was no year 0 - Creation began in Year 1 so it makes sense to say that the 6000 years of the world are from Year 1 until Year 6001.

Every 15 minutes of the Cosmic Clock = 10.41666 years, or 10 years and 5 months.  This is because there are 24 15-minute intervals in the last 6 hours of the day, corresponding to 250 years so  250/24=10.41666.  We are now 31.25 years (31 years and 3 months) from Hatzot.

Well, Moshiach is due soon because we will have almost a couple of hundred (almost 200 years) years of the messianic era where techiyat hameitim will soon also take place. From what I have read, techiyat hameisim has to start no more than 214 years before 6000.

Anonymous: If R David Abuhasera said the 9 began Chanuka, wouldn't it conclude elul/RHS? What do you mean by pesah

YeranenYaak, Thank you for posting, I have been thinking about this b4 seeing this post.
Can you please explain the significance of 12:45 (besides it being the fraction ). What does that correlate to in everyday terms, or in messianic terms?

We know that the aura of Shabbat comes in already on Friday afternoon, which is why we don't say תחנון, refrain from certain work from "Minha" (mahloket what that means) and on, etc. The closer we get to Shabbat, the stronger that aura is. As I noted in the post, we are at the one-eighth mark of the afternoon, which is significant as it shows a large chunk of the afternoon has past and it shows that that aura is stronger and therefore, the Messianic era's pull is stronger.

Additionally, every 15 minutes has the possibility of a halachic significance (as is noted in the chart), and although I don't know of anything halachic with 12:45 (if I did, I would have put it in the chart), it is still significant as being a 15-minute mark.

Leah, just found your comment awaiting moderation. All times are assuming sunset is 6 PM as that is the average.
