Mamdani and Korah

Rabbi Pini Dunner compares New York City mayoral candidate Zohran Mamdani (YM"S) and Korah.

He writes:

Mamdani is reading straight from Korach’s script — only the costume has changed. He doesn’t want to improve New York; he wants to dismantle it. He doesn’t seek to reform flawed systems; he seeks to uproot and replace them with a radical ideology that divides rather than unites. To him, opponents aren’t fellow citizens with different ideas — they’re villains in a moral crusade.

...

And in the end, just like Korach, populists like Mamdani always go down with the ship they set ablaze.

Interestingly enough, the gematria of זוהרן ממדאני (with the final nun as 700) is 1063.

The only Pasuk in the Torah with the gematria of 1063 is Shemot 6:21:

כא  וּבְנֵי, יִצְהָר--קֹרַח וָנֶפֶג, וְזִכְרִי.21 And the sons of Izhar: Korah, and Nepheg, and Zichri.

which is the first Pasuk in the Torah that mentions Korah.

Mamdani represents an entire Generation and a half that is at least 65% menuvalim. Under the age of 32 or 33, Gen Z and maybe the latter half of the Millennials in the United States, esp. in the Blue States, are full fledged menuvalim.

There are 2 metrics to determine this.

1. Are they one of the original states whose legislatures passed laws writing Ketubot for Mishkav Zakhar?

2. Is petty theft rampant as it was imminently before the Great Flood? Do they need to put generic non-prescription medicines behind lock and key at CVS or Walgreens or put undergarments at Walmart behind lock and key? These are quintessential examples of petty theft.

If the answer is Yes and Yes, that place is literally doomed. I am surprised that it took 12 1/2 years after Hurricane Sandy for this to happen in NYCity. HaShem's Rachmanut and patience were on display with a 12 year stretch with a series of warnings which were ignored by many who should have seen this coming. I hope all the property owners in Flatbush and Borough Park etc do not get stuck underwater on their mortgages. I pray they safely come home.

So I just watched the most watched campaign ad for Mamdani that got him elected or nominated, an ad where he went to several NY street vendors talking about the cost of a Halal meal and how as Mayor he would somehow force the reduction of a cost of a Halal Schwarmah from $10 to $8 citywide. That campaign commercial resonated with his voters and got him nominated. I thought about Hurricane Sandy and the Pyramids of sand after the cleanup on Coney Island and Rockaway below Mem Tet Shaarei tumah on empty lots in Brooklyn. I thought about how a terrorist who did $35,000 to the Student Union at Columbia and how he became a NY folk hero to a generation of 65% reprobates. The Gemorrah in Chullin, our word for Halal, which points to the point of no return of a gentile civilization where they either give federal FDA Hashgachah on human flesh in the marketplace or they start writing ketubot for same sex males. And the double entendre where Chullin can mean both mundane slaughter or Sandies (the Hurricane and Sandy Hook) and now the final hammer blow of bowing to our Islamist masters by making Halal meals more affordable by govt decree. My feelings and my face went gaunt. Oy Meh haya lanu! And Curtis Sliwa showed disdain for Matmidim scholars, another black mark in that same Gemorrah in Chullin 92, but he is light years ahead of this chump. Kind of scraping the bottom of the barrel though.

As for us, we are wondering if ElAl will no longer be flying into JFK or Newark for that matter in addition to this unfolding catastrophe. Last flight, the first Monday in November.
