What's going on in the world?

Just when you thought you knew certain things about the world, everything gets turned upside down on you.

First, I hear that Israeli President Katsav shakes hands with both Syria's Bashar Assad and Iran's Khatami (and talks to Khatami for almost an hour in Farsi).

Then, I hear that Cookie Monster starts to eat other healthier foods, while cookies will be demoted to a "sometimes food". (Hat tip: The View From Here)

And finally, I hear that Blogger develops a way to recover lost posts!
