Milestone

I got added to 2 bloggers blogrolls yesterday:

Destination Jerusalem
Mystical Paths

At least they're the first 2 that I'm aware of. I added them to my blogroll too - not just in the spirit of reciprocity - but because I truly share their interests in Authentic Judaism's aspirations for Mashiah to come speedily in our days, and rabbinic predictions towards that goal.

Although this blog is not only about that topic, it's one that I find fascinating, and will BE"H continue to post about it.

And, guys, thanks for the plug.

Update: 2 more blogger giants added me:

Shiloh Musings
Cosmic X

This is way too humbling.

You're welcome! The topic of Mashiach is definitely fascinating. I talked to a friend last night about all the Redemption discussion online and that I'm trying to keep up with some of it on my blog, and she said something like - As long as you're not one of those people on street corners carrying signs that say the end is near! I assured her that I wasn't.

I think it's good that a lot of talk is going on. It helps us relate to the possibility in a more real and tangible way.

I think of it kind of like if a person wants a new and wonderful job. Treating it as a far off distant dream wouldn't do much to help get that job. He should look in the job listings, send out resumes, make follow-up calls, go to interviews. Not that it's impossible that someone might just call out of nowhere and say - I've got the perfect job for you! - But it's a lot less likely.

Hopefully all the talk and yearning for the Redemption will help bring Mashiach speedily in our days.

Nice analogy. This is much like Nahshon Ben Aminadav who went nose-deep into the Red-Sea (appropriate for Shevi'i Shel Pesah). He needed to "believe with actions" to bring the Ge'ula.

Amen!
