Rav Kanievsky: Probable That Unrest Shows Mashiah is Coming

Rabbi Chaim Kanievsky, an unconventional Lithuanian leader who is believed to have mystic powers, offered a different explanation. “It is evident that many unnatural things are happening,” he said. “People have come to me and said that it’s ‘Gog and Magog’ (Armageddon). We cannot know. But it’s probable that any unrest that God creates shows that the Messiah is coming, and that we must begin to prepare for it and become stronger.”

Another sign of Mashiah coming is Rav Wosner's (Shlit"a) visit to Rav Ovadia (Shlit"a).

Why is Rav Wosner's (Shlit"a) visit to Rav Ovadia (Shlit"a) a sign of Moshiach?
It has to do with what's going on in E"Y nowadays with the Geirut controversy. Rav Wosner regrets signing on a document which (w/o mentioning Rav Ovadia's name) blasted Rav Ovadia's psak to allow IDF Conversions. His visit to strengthen him is a great sign of Ahdut between Ashkenazim and Sepharadim at a time when these relations are strained.
I hope the Mashiach comes soon because if he does not come soon it looks like Islamic rule will spread like the Carmel fire throughout the Middle East. Then we will be facing a Gog and Magog scenario chas ve shalom.
