Rav Batzri's Rav Ovadia Mashiah Dream is a False Whatsapp Rumor
Kikar tells us that some people posted the following on Whatsapp:
Rav Batzri wanted to announce that last night at midnight, Rav Ovadia came to him in a dream and told him that Am Yisrael is as close to Redemption as "the opening of the sun" and told him that if Israel merits, they will already be bringing sacrifices to the Beit Hamikdash on the day of Shavuot. And he told him that the matter is dependent on 2 things: 1) Not to speak Leshon Hara and 2) Keeping Shabbat according to its proper Halacha. As it is these 2 things that are preventing the Redemption.According to the "dream", Rav Ovadia told Rav Batzri that "the proof to the matter is that on the upcoming Yom Ha'atzma'ut, there will something big in Am Yisrael and whoever will merit will understand the enormity of the matter."
The person who disseminated this false dream requested from people to "please disseminate it as much as possible! Remember that the Redemption of Am Yisrael is dependent upon you! Don't fail!"
Rav Batzri's Yeshiva was quick to dispel the rumor on Friday by saying:
Yeshivat Hashalom, headed by Rav David Batzri Shlit"a, wants to relay that there is no truth to what was written in an announcement that was disseminated today where it was claimed that - Kivyachol - Harav Hamekubal saw Rav Ovadia Yosef ZT"L, etc. ...Rav Batzri's son, Rav Yitzhak Batzri, confirmed with Kikar that: "There was no dream. It didn't happen and was never created."
There is no need for dreams in order to know that every Jew is commanded to guard his tongue and to keep the Holy Shabbat.
And I wish it were true that we would merit Redemption, speedily in our days.

agree with above anonymous , know one knows jack squat on mashiach ,,,
remove the above anonymous I wrote . just ticked at all these dreams not transpiring , we sound like the psychich hotline on cabel . If some rav has a dream or a vision ~ lets be doubly sure ~ lest its made up . Rav kaduris name is shmaded on you tube with his supposed letter he wrote .
To Both 'Jacks': The problem isn't that nobody knows'. The problem is that nobody has a problem with Eliyohu Hanovi having 'Te'cheas Hamaisim (rising from the dead)!!!,but that a MoShiach 'rising' is a problem. As a Baal Techuva, a rational thinking person, I think Yidden should look at the 'qualifications' of a 'candidate', which we had. But nobody would except! Sad.
to the above are you speaking of yeshka or the rebbe of chabad both have myriads of jews believing in them messianics and chabad . Whats the differerence both believe in chesed 10 commandments ? Im glad bar tzadok is giving shiurime on the new testament on koshertorah.com , a lot of jews are caught by missionaries and are vulnerable .
