ISIS Gematrias

In Hebrew, ISIS has the acronym דאע"ש - based on the Arabic אלדולה אלאסלאמיה פי אלעראק ואלשאם, meaning "This Islamic State of Iraq and Syria".

Debka reported:

Sources of the autonomous Kurdish government of Iraq say ISIS has plundered in the past fortnight enough advanced US-made weapons to arm 200,000 combat personnel. They include the arsenals of the four Iraqi divisions supposed to have defended Mosul, Kirkuk, its oil fields and the Saluddin province. Los Angeles Times said Tuesday that that US armored Hunvees, artillery pieces as well as truck rockets from Iraq were seen on the Syrian battlefield.

The frightening prospect is that Yishmael will plow through Jordan using Edom's equipment and then use it to go and fight Israel.  It is fair to say that Hashem's plan for the entire Iraq War was for this to happen and test Israel into repentance.  One could possibly even say that the whole purpose of 9-11 was for there to be a pretext for George W. Bush to fight Iraq so that he would need to arm the Iraqi military after the war - to later be used by ISIS to fight Israel to get us to repent.  מגיד מראשית אחרית.

On Shabbat, we learned how Sihon, the king of the Emorites, was decimated by the Israelites.
סיחון מלך האמורי + the kollel = מלך הח'ליפה אבראהים (The King Caliph Ibrahim), who just started going by that name the day after we read about Sihon in the Torah on Shabbat.  May history repeat itself.

דאע"ש has the gematria of 375.

Let's see what other phrases in Tanach have this gematria of 375 (from GezaGeza):

ויאמר לו יצחק אביו, מי אתה; ויאמר:אני בנך בכרך, עשו

Esav's weapons are being used by ISIS.  They are also employing his methods that Yitzhak Avinu told him - על חרבך תחיה.

והנשארים בכם:והבאתי מרך בלבבם, בארצת איביהם; ורדף אתם, קול עלה נדף, ונסו מנסת חרב ונפלו, ואין רדף

This verse from the Tocheha perhaps tells us that ISIS will be scary to the point of retreat, but will in actuality be merely nothing.  May this verse not come to fruition.

על כן יאמרו המשלים, באו חשבון; תבנה ותכונן, עיר סיחון

According to Rashi's simple explanation of this verse, Bil'am and his father told Sihon, King of the Emorites, to come and capture Heshbon from the Moabites, which he did.  Heshbon, of course, is in present-day Jordan.

כי אש יצאה מחשבון, להבה מקרית סיחן: אכלה ער מואב, בעלי במות ארנן

The very next verse talks about Sihon devouring Ar, another city/area in present-day Jordan.

וישלחו אנשי גבעון אל יהושע אל המחנה, הגלגלה לאמר, אל תרף ידיך, מעבדיך: עלה אלינו מהרה, והושיעה לנו ועזרנו:כי נקבצו אלינו, כל מלכי האמרי ישבי ההר

Once again, Emorites gathering towards us.

בהנגף עמך ישראל לפני אויב, אשר יחטאו לך; ושבו אליך, והודו את שמך, והתפללו והתחננו אליך, בבית הזה

ושבו אליך, בכל לבבם ובכל נפשם, בארץ איביהם, אשר שבו אתם; והתפללו אליך, דרך ארצם אשר נתתה לאבותם, העיר אשר בחרת, והבית אשר בנית לשמך

Shelomo Hamelech (whose name also equals 375) twice talks about how we will be answered by Hashem when we do Teshuva and pray.

יעזב רשע דרכו, ואיש און מחשבתיו; וישב אל יהוה, וירחמהו, ואל אלהינו, כי ירבה לסלוח

Yeshaya Hanavi, in this famous verse, also talks about how Hashem will have mercy on us when we repent.

לכן הנני נטיתי את ידי עליך, ונתתיך לבג לגוים, והכרתיך מן העמים, והאבדתיך מן הארצות; אשמידך:וידעת, כי אני יהוה

Yehezkel Hanavi warns the nation of Amon (in present-day Jordan) how it will be destroyed.

אם יתקע שופר בעיר, ועם לא יחרדו; אם תהיה רעה בעיר, ויהוה לא עשה

Amos Hanavi, in this famous verse, asks how we cannot tremble when we hear the warning signs of a Shofar blast.

כי עליך, הרגנו כל היום; נחשבנו, כצאן טבחה

שפכו דמם, כמים:סביבות, ירושלם; ואין קובר

צדיק הוא יהוה, כי פיהו מריתי; שמעו נא כל עמים, וראו מכאבי:בתולתי ובחורי, הלכו בשבי

Let's hope these verses will no longer come to fruition.

ושבו אליך, בכל לבם ובכל נפשם, בארץ שבים, אשר שבו אתם; והתפללו, דרך ארצם אשר נתתה לאבותם, והעיר אשר בחרת, ולבית אשר בניתי לשמך

Again, Shelomo Hamelech, in his prayer when he built the Beit Hamikdash, tells us how we will be forgiven via Teshuva and prayer.
