Thanks for the link. BTW, I liked the water libation rehearsal ceremony. I wish that I had been there.

The A-7 article about the evangelicals says, "In apparent misunderstanding of the prophecies of Zechariah…".

What is their misunderstanding?

I may be naive or sympathetic, but regardless of an inner wish that all peoples of the earth worship their ….., they do support the State of Israel politically and Jews in general, and in these troublesome and anxiety-filled days there aren't too many on our side. Maybe some of these eventually will be the righteous gentiles that serve us in the Beis HaMikdash IY"H soon.

Can you elucidate.

Surprised at Neshama's comment. Someone religious but still doesn't grasp what their true motivations are, after all so much exposure by 'Jewish Israel' and Tomer Devorah's articles, etc.-am a bit surprised. Guess the galut mentality is still with us.

Their misunderstanding? Where to start? First of all, many of them believe they have a chiuv to keep Sukkot (called by them either Sukkot or Feast of Tabernacles, etc.). That's why they're here en masse during Sukkot. And that misunderstanding in part comes straight from the nevuah of Zecharyah who stated that during Sukkot in the future representatives of all nations would come to Yerushalayim and worship the King.

Trouble is that their misunderstanding seems to be purposeful. To come up to see the King is when we will have a Beit HaMikdash and Moshiach Tzdkeinu will be here, as leader of the world representing Hashem. Now is not the time to come up to Yerushalayim unless there are unwanted motivations. Read Psalm 83.

My query has nothing to do with galut mentality. I am not a copy-cat thinker and don't hold 100% to Tomer Devora's perspective, which is what it is, hers.
