Rav Fish on the Har Nof Massacre
From Rav Fish's latest (p. 11):
[YY - compare and contrast to what I wrote here.]
We find in the Zohar Hadash (Balak 68b) that there is a process of hidden matters from Shavuot until the middle of Elul of 70 days and another 32 days, and afterwards begin the wars that will last 12 months, culminating in the coming of Mashiah. And the Zohar mentions explicitly that the process will begin in the year 274, which is the from morning of the sixth millennium, meaning the year 5774. And we see there from the words of the Zohar that there will be a destruction in a synagogue in the south and 5 Tzadikim will die. And indeed, we saw on 25 Heshvan, 5775 that a great destruction occurred in a synagogue in the southwest of Yerushalayim, in the Har Nof neighborhood, and in general, Yerushalayim is a southern city in Eretz Yisrael. And 4 Tzadikim were murdered Al Kiddush Hashem and one more person was killed - a Druze policeman, who gave up his life for Israel, and he definitely has a status of a pious non-Jew (see Hazon Ovadia, Hilchot Aveilut, that a Druze who died Al Kiddush Hashem, people should say Kaddish and a Hashkava for him). It comes out that altogether, 5 people were killed.
However, the simple reading of the Zohar tells us that there are 70 days starting from the days that precede Shavuot, followed by the killing of the Tzaddikim, then followed by 32 days until the beginning of the wars. However, if we read the Zohar carefully, we see that the Zohar mentions 70 years twice, and it's possible that the Zohar means 2x70 and 32. And according to this, if we count 70 + 32 + 70 from before Shavuot, we reach exactly the day of 25 Heshvan, 5775, which is when the Zohar says that 5 Tzaddikim will be killed in the synagogue. [YY - Subtracting 172 days from November 18th brings you to Rosh Hodesh Sivan.]
And we will bring the words of the Zohar:
The Shechina will go and return to Moshe for 70 days. At the end of 70 days, the cries of the children of Yisrael will ascend before the Holy King, as they will oppress them on all sides of the world. And one synagogue toward the south will be lost and destroyed, and 5 true Tzadikim will be killed among them. And then, at the end of 32 days from when they kill those from that synagogue, HKB"H will enclothe Himself with zeal for that "small Shofar" ... And from there, they will go and ignite wars over the world. And while they will wage wars with all the inhabitants of the world, the children of Edom will gather over the Holy Land and capture it, and will rule over it for 12 months. At the end of 12 months, the whole world will erupt and shake. And if we continue to count 32 days from 25 Heshvan, 5775, we reach Shabbat Hanukkah, 5775, at which time, the wars mentioned in the Zohar must begin, which will bring the coming of Mashiah after 12 months.
And we see an amazing thing: 6 years ago, on 29 Heshvan, 5769 [Nov. 26th at night], which also fell on Parshat Toledot, was the terrible attack on a Chabad House in Mumbai - in the south of the world, and 6 righteous Jews in a synagogue. And 2 terrorists were killed just like in Har Nof. And 32 days later [YY - if counting the day of Nov. 26th included] on Shabbat Hanukka, the 30th of Kislev, 5769, the day Operation Cast Lead began in Gaza. All this occurred 6 years before the final Ketz, which itself was a time of Ketz, as is brought down in the Zohar (Pinhas 252a), which notes the time of 60 years, and then another 2x6 years, which together brings it to 72. And in Parshat Vayera (119a), there is a girsa in the Zohar that says 60 years and another 6.5 years and another 6 years. In any case, we see that 6 years before the final Ketz of Be'itah is also a time of Ketz, and we see that the same ideas were awakened.
...
And another amazing thing that was similar in the 2 cases was that a boy succeeded to be miraculously saved. In Mumbai, there was an Indian nanny who took the Holtzberg's boy and ran off with him outside running for their lives under fire from the terrorists. And in Har Nof, a 12-year-old boy, a son of one of the injured, who crawled outside of the synagogue under fire of the terrorists.
And it's possible that there is a hint that these things bring the Mashiah, who is compared to the birth of a boy, as it says (Yeshaya 9:5) [For a child is born unto us, a son is given unto us; and the government is upon his shoulder; and his name is called Pele-joez-el-gibbor-Abi-ad-sar-shalom;]
And it was also publicized that the evildoers entered the synagogue in Har Nof at the time that the Sheliah Tzibbur said, "ומביא גואל לבני בניהם למען שמו באהבה" [and brings a redeemer to their descendants for the sake of His name - with love].
R' S. Reiskin adds that the terrorist murderer from Har Nof is רסאן אבו אל ג'מל (Shem Resha'im Yirkav) whose gematria equals that of משיח בן דוד and the second terrorist is עודאי אבו אל ג'מל (Shem Resha'im Yirkav) whose gematria equals that of צמח בן דוד.
Also, Agassi St. in Har Nof hints to a womb from which the birth of Mashiah comes since a womb is in the shape of a pear (Agas) and is compared to a pear.
I also heard from Rav Shimon Rosenberg Shlit"a, who lost his daughter and son-in-law - the Holtzbergs HY"D, that the Sanzer Rebbe Shlit"a was there for Nihum Aveilim and quoted the aforementioned Zohar, and was lengthy in explaining how the event connected to the words of the Zohar in an amazing way. Also, the names of Gavriel and Rivka HY"D connect to Parshat Toledot, when the attack occurred, as it deals with Yitzhak and Rivka - since Gavriel is the angel of the attribute of Gevura of Yitzhak. Also, תולדת יצחק בן אברהם hints to the son-in-law of the Toldos Avraham Yitzchak Rebbe HY"D who was killed there.
Also, there is a slight similarity between the names of the murdered in the 2 attacks. In India, the Holtzbergs HY"D were killed, while in Har Nof, Rabbi Goldberg HY"D was killed. In India, Rav Korman HY"D was killed, while in Har Nof, an Avreich with the first name Kalman HY"D was killed. Also, in both places, Avreichim with the name of Aryeh HY"D were killed.
R' M.P. adds that Tzaddikim are taken because of the sin of the generation (עון הדור), which has the same gematria as הר נוף (Har Nof) and אשם (a guilt offering).
Also, the date 25 Heshvan is 232 days from Rosh Hashana according to Ribbi Yehoshua, who counts from Nissan. The number 232 is the gematria of the 4 Miluim of Hashem's name (ע"ב ס"ג מ"ה ב"ן), and symbolizes the Yihud of Yesod and Malchut, which connects the worlds, being the Sod of the Rashei Teivot באר לחי ראי as is brought down in the Zohar (Toledot 135b). And there is a hint to all this that they were slaughtered for the unification of Hashem, as some say in prayers טבוחים על יחודך. (Rav Fish was assisted by R' Avraham Weisfish and R' Noam Yaakovi.)

"The Ishmaelites have been denied a place in Heaven. But in the merit of their circumcising themselves, they have been given a place in the Holy Land. And until that merit has been exhausted, they will be permitted to vex the Jews in it. In the future the sons of Ishmael will stir up mighty battles in the world and compel the sons of Edom to gather against them from the ends of the earth, to wage war for three months at sea, on the land and near Jerusalem".
thought the zohar was ruach hakodesh not dafka nevuah mamash . Yaak
Elaborate on edom takng over the state from bibi . from this zohar it seems the satmar rav of blessed memory would agree . Any satmar chasidime out there to elaborate on the ravs shilah anbout not having a government .
I have had two thoughts of late about this calculation.
1. One can argue that Har Nof is Southwest of the Temple Mount even if it is due west from the Jaffa Gate, which I believe is the case. So the proximity of being southwest has to be in relationship to the Temple Mount, not Sha'ar Yafo, which is altogether possible what was actually meant in the Zohar.
2. The reason why the Druze can be included in the count of the five is not simply because they are righteous gentiles, but because they are Bnei Yithro which is a leap more chashuv than being a Ger Toshav.
Personally I find it very difficult these days to draw connections with the slaughter of tzaddikim and end times simanim after the Shoah. I can't do it because of a revulsion to the idea that Jewish blood is still cheap 70 years later. So I am glad that others like Rav Fish are doing this.
