Chalab according to either Tevuot HaAretz or Kaftor veFerach is the northern tip of Eretz Yisrael. For the life of me, I never fully understood why Yehoshua never conquered the northern 40% of his Mandate of Conquest of Eretz Yisrael. And Chazal give him a pass on that too. Now we know.
Gog UMagog will take place in Eretz Yisrael after all....the portion of Eretz Yisrael which is in Lebanon and Western Syria of course. And no Jew will have to suffer from the boots on the ground as Medvedev, as promised by him, takes on all comers to WW3 north of the modern Israeli border. Don't worry, Yo'av's scion will eventually go back and rebuild that shul after that 40% north of the border is all turned into rubble or at the very least is free of other human beings to contest its ownership.
