Pekudei and 5776

A few notes related to this year of 5776:

• The Ba'al Hatanya's strong hint that the 1775 shekalim from this week's פרשה is Geula-related can be applied to 5776 since the millennium begins in a year that ends in "001".  This is because Creation began in Year 1.  Therefore, as the gemara says, years 1-2000 are Tohu.  Years 2001-4000 are Torah.  Yemot Hamashiah begins in the year 4001.  1775 years later is 5776.
• See an idea I had last year regarding the 3 ומשחתs in the verses that the Targum Yonatan says is very much Geula-related and can apply to this year.
• This is not Pekudei-related, but in this week's newsletter from Rav Fish (p. 19), he quotes R' Menahem Barhum, who says that the entire verse at the end of Daniel:   וּמֵעֵת הוּסַר הַתָּמִיד, וְלָתֵת שִׁקּוּץ שֹׁמֵם--יָמִים, אֶלֶף מָאתַיִם וְתִשְׁעִים [And from the time that the continual burnt-offering shall be taken away, and the detestable thing that causes appalment set up, there shall be a thousand two hundred and ninety days.] has a gematria of 4486, and if you add 1290 to it, you get 5776.
