Iran's 23-Year Plan to Destroy Israel vs. Hashem's Plan to Redeem Israel
Jpost:
The eradication of Israel in "23 years" is the main objective of a recently-created Iranian military unit formed to fight in Arab countries in the region, one of Iran's former most senior military commanders has said. This genocidal timetable of the anti-Semitic regime in Teheran has not escaped my interest. Of course, we are in the year 5776, a mere 40 days from Rosh Hashana 5777. That makes the 23-year deadline for their devious scheme (היה לא תהיה) to fall out in the year 5800.
Retired Iranian Revolutionary Guards general Mohammad Ali Al Falaki made the comments last week while speaking of Tehran's so-called 'Shi'ite Liberation Army' that conducts extraterritorial military operations, Al Arabiya reported, citing an interview with Iran's Mashregh news agency.
The former leader of the Islamic Republic's ideologically-driven military branch noted that the Iranian special forces are fighting abroad in Iraq, Syria and Yemen.
Falaki claimed that the forces are specially positioned to destroy the Jewish state because they are fighting near Israel's borders.
The establishment of the first nucleus of the militia is tasked to “eradicate Israel after 23 years, especially that these battalions are now on Israeli borders,” he was quoted as saying in an invocation of prior remarks made by Iran's Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei.
In 2015, Khamenei asserted that Israel will cease to exist within three decades.
"After negotiations, in the Zionist regime they said they had no more concern about Iran for the next 25 years," Khamenei tweeted in reference to talks on the yet to be ratified nuclear deal with world powers.
"Firstly, you will not see the next 25 years," he tweeted, addressing Israel. "God willing, there will be nothing of the Zionist regime by the next 25 years."
In the interview with Mashregh last week, Falaki added that the 'Shi'ite Liberation Army' was comprised not only of Iranians but also local recruits from the embattled areas.
You may recall a previous post where Rav Fish, based on the Zohar, referred to the 100-year Geula process that began in 5701:
The Zohar speaks of the process of a Be'itah Redemption which lasts 100 years, as the first 60 years are called "Ibura Dedasha", which is a door which goes to and fro on its hinge in the Sod of Mashiah Ben Yosef, who opens the spiritual influence and then closes it. According to the introductions of the books "Yam HaHochma", the 100 years started in the year 5701, which was when the new 100 years from creation began, and the Holocaust broke out, whereupon occurred the ending of the "filtering of the sparks" from all the places where the Jewish Nation encamped in the many years of their exile, as we see that in most places, it was almost totally free of Jews.Hopefully, the Geula will be here before then, but if not, there will likely be a clash of opposing spiritual forces that will culminate in the year 5800. This spiritual confrontation will manifest itself in a physical one around the same time. In this corner, we have the long-time tormentors of the Jewish people - Edom - and in the other corner, the leading sponsor of terrorism against the Jewish people for the past 37+ years - Persia. The gemara in Avoda Zara 2b explains how these 2 nations will be the important ones remaining at the End of Days. The gemara in Yoma 10a provides two scenarios regarding who emerges victorious in their battle against each other. But regardless, later on, Mashiah and the Jewish people will be the ultimate victors.
The Aryans and Iranians are the bookend powerhouses of this 8th century of the 6th millennium. Both derive from the same people and both have the same spiritual root - Amalek. Both desire to wipe the Jewish people off the face of the earth and both had/will have failed.
Edom is far from being off the hook here either. One may think that with a year named תת, and 400 being a very Edomite number (Esav coming with 400 men, etc.), they would be be doubly powerful in that year. That may be true, but we also know that the verse (Amos 1:11):
has the gematria of 5800, showing Edom's downfall in that year. Thus saith the LORD: For three transgressions of Edom, yea, for four, I will not reverse it: because he did pursue his brother with the sword, and did cast off all pity, and his anger did tear perpetually, and he kept his wrath for ever.
But also notice the following verse:
Teiman and Botzrah are traditionally Edomite cities, but in recent times, these names have come to mean Yemen and Basra, Iraq respectively. These are both areas in which Iran is currently very interested in conquering either for itself or for its Shiite proxies. Perhaps, the prophet is hinting to us that not only Edom is destined to be destroyed, but also the nation who took up the mantle of על רדפו בחרב אחיו and ועברתו שמרה לנצח - namely Iran. And the prophet is zeroing in not on Iran proper, but on their proxy ambitions - Teiman and Botzra - or perhaps, the "Shi'ite Liberation Army" wherever they may be.וְשִׁלַּחְתִּי אֵשׁ, בְּתֵימָן; וְאָכְלָה, אַרְמְנוֹת בָּצְרָה.So will I send a fire upon Teman, and it shall devour the palaces of Bozrah.
So, if circumstances allow us a Redemption in 5776, may Hashem bring it to fruition speedily and with mercy. If not, and we must wait until the end of the Jewish calendar's century, look out for this ultimate battle to unfold. Those who cling to Hashem and His Torah will prevail.

Oh, I hope HaShem will not put off Geulah Shlemah that much longer! I may not live till then - not to mention my husband! See my post here.
Thank you for this, Rav Yaak.
See link - http://bit.ly/2bZsRjf and read footnote 3.
We are currently in the year תשע"ו, 5776.
If you rearrange the letters of תשע"ו, it spells our 'עשו ת, Eisav [with] four hundred [men].
