• Computers and Internet
• Computers are bad
• It's brought down by R' Yitzhak Meir Morgenstern Shlit"a that ארמלוס [Armilus, which = 347] is the gematria of אינטרנט [Internet] plus the letters and the kollel, which are the gematria of שז"ל, which are the kelipot that fight against the holiness of Yesod, and therefore fight against MBY, who has the aspect of Yesod.
• ארמלוס is also hinted in the verse 

  יד  וְאָמַר סֹלּוּ-סֹלּוּ, פַּנּוּ-דָרֶךְ; הָרִימוּ מִכְשׁוֹל, מִדֶּרֶךְ עַמִּי.  {ס}

  14 And He will say: cast ye up, cast ye up, clear the way, take up the stumblingblock out of the way of My people. {S}

• איפון [iPhone] is the same letters as ניאוף [adultery].
• The word for using the Internet is "surfing", hinting that the Internet lowers those who use it from the high places down to the deep pit - to the depths of Gehinnom.
• "Internet" means "inter" נ"ט - i.e. inside the 50 [נ] gates of Tum'ah [ט].
• The Ki LaHashem Hamelucha newsletter says that רשת האינטרנט [the Internet network] is the gematria of the milui of שער נון [the 50th gate].
• R' Aharon Kalman adds that "Gog" is hinted to in the word "Google".
• R' M.P. adds that "Gog" and "Magog" are hinted to in "Gigabyte" and "Megabyte".
• The 3rd Intifada broke out via provocation coming from the Internet, harming Jews, and there is a tradition from R' Yosef Schwartz from Netanya ZT"L and Baba Elazar ZT"L that Gog Umagog would break out when there will be stabbings of Jews in the streets of Israel and they will be afraid to go out on the street.
• R' Yosef Sofer adds that the letters that come before מחשב [computer] is אל זר [a foreign god].
• Also, מחשב is the Sofei Teivot of the verse

  יד  וְהָיָה, לְמִקְדָּשׁ; וּלְאֶבֶן נֶגֶף וּלְצוּר מִכְשׁוֹל לִשְׁנֵי בָתֵּי יִשְׂרָאֵל, לְפַח וּלְמוֹקֵשׁ--לְיוֹשֵׁב, יְרוּשָׁלִָם.

  14 And He shall be for a sanctuary; but for a stone of stumbling and for a rock of offence to both the houses of Israel, for a gin and for a snare to the inhabitants of Jerusalem.

• The connection to the Kelipa of the computer is called a "link", which hints to לינוק מהקדשה [to nurture from the holiness].
• R' Chaim Galander adds that "link" in Yiddish means "left", which hints to the Kelipa.
• R' Levi Yitzchak Lederman adds that a computer hints to one of the signs of the footsteps of Mashiah, in Pirkei deRibbi Eliezer (30):

  Ribbi Yishmael said: The Children of Yishmael will do 15 things in the land in the End of Days: ...  the paper and the pen will wither...

• It's also brought down in the Ben Ish Hai (Sanhedrin 97a) who explains the gemara that says: "Ben David doesn't come until the Perutah is finished from the pocket" to mean that people will not use coins any longer and this is fulfilled before our eyes since people use credit cards and the like.
• Also, it is written regarding the war against Amalek:

  א  וַיִּשְׁמַע הַכְּנַעֲנִי מֶלֶךְ-עֲרָד, יֹשֵׁב הַנֶּגֶב, כִּי בָּא יִשְׂרָאֵל, דֶּרֶךְ הָאֲתָרִים; וַיִּלָּחֶם, בְּיִשְׂרָאֵל, וַיִּשְׁבְּ מִמֶּנּוּ, שֶׁבִי.

  1 And the Canaanite, the king of Arad, who dwelt in the South, heard tell that Israel came by the way of Atharim; and he fought against Israel, and took some of them captive.

  and אתרים is another way of saying "websites".
  
• R' A. Tubi adds that טוויטר [Twitter] is the gematria of Amalek.
• Computers are also good
• Going deeper to explain the connection between the kelipa of computers and the kelipa of Armilus who enclothes Mashiah: As it's known that according to the size of the kelipa, one knows the size of the holy spark inside.  And the holy spark of computers is Mashiah - that is that computers came to the world at the End of Days since they are needed to be a support for Torah during the coming of Mashiah, and especially the Torah of "Remez" which is destined to spread throughout the world.  And therefore, the word מחשבים [computers] has the letters בם משיח [in them is Mashiah], i.e., hidden inside them is the spark of Mashiah.  And when Mashiah comes, all computers will be protected from the filth just as there are countries that already today block certain programs/websites according to their religion so they will not enter the computers in that land.
• אמייל [email] has the gematria of Hashem's name [both as read and written] as it symbolizes the descent of holiness to the lower world.
• Also, "Himmel" [sounds like "email"] in Yiddish means "heaven" as it symbolizes the partzuf ze'eir anpin, i.e., the computer brings down the light of the partzuf ze'eir anpin which is קודשא בריך הוא lower and lower.
• I heard from R' Yoel Teitelbaum that מחשב is the Rashei Teivot of

  לז  הַעֲבֵר עֵינַי, מֵרְאוֹת שָׁוְא;    בִּדְרָכֶךָ חַיֵּנִי.

  37 Turn away mine eyes from beholding vanity, and quicken me in Thy ways.

  hinting to the idea that one must be careful to guard one's eyes from the computer, but at the same time, it's possible to be להגדיל תורה ולהאדירה [magnify Torah and strengthen it] by way of the computer, like the verse continues "and quicken me in Thy ways".
• And the conversion of a computer from bad to good can be hinted to in the verse

  כ  וְאַתֶּם, חֲשַׁבְתֶּם עָלַי רָעָה; אֱלֹהִים, חֲשָׁבָהּ לְטֹבָה, לְמַעַן עֲשֹׂה כַּיּוֹם הַזֶּה, לְהַחֲיֹת עַם-רָב.

  20 And as for you, ye meant evil against me; but God meant it for good, to bring to pass, as it is this day, to save much people alive.

• Also, the letters after מחשב are טנת"ג, standing for טעמים [cantillation notes], נקודות [vowels], תגים [tags attached to letters], גימטריות [gematrias].
• But on the side of evil, it stands for ת"ן ג"ט [give a get] that it causes divorce between man and wife, Hashem should guard us from this.
• Adding Days to Mashiah's Life
• It says:

  ז  יָמִים עַל-יְמֵי-מֶלֶךְ תּוֹסִיף;    שְׁנוֹתָיו, כְּמוֹ-דֹר וָדֹר.

  7 Mayest Thou add days unto the king's days! May his years be as many generations!

  and the Targum there translates this as: "Add days to the days of the King Mashiah - like generations in this world and generations in the next world."  We see that the Targum learns this verse that there is a connection between the years of King David when he was king to the years in the future when King Mashiah will be here.
  
• [YY - I'm unclear what he means when he says the following:] They both have the aspect of being after 886 years.
• R' T. H. adds that the word שנותיו [his years] plus the letters, word and Kollel equals the gematria of ה'תשע"ה [which is 5775].
• It's brought down from the Brisker Rav ZT"L, who was asked that according to the commentaries who explain this verse to be talking about Mashiah, why is added days being requested for him?  Doesn't he live forever? As it says:

  ח  בִּלַּע הַמָּוֶת לָנֶצַח,

  8 He will swallow up death for ever;

  And he answers that what's being requested is his earlier arrival.
• And indeed the gematria of the 3 verses there:

  ז  יָמִים עַל-יְמֵי-מֶלֶךְ תּוֹסִיף;    שְׁנוֹתָיו, כְּמוֹ-דֹר וָדֹר.	7 Mayest Thou add days unto the king's days! May his years be as many generations!
  ח  יֵשֵׁב עוֹלָם, לִפְנֵי אֱלֹהִים;    חֶסֶד וֶאֱמֶת, מַן יִנְצְרֻהוּ.	8 May he be enthroned before God for ever! Appoint mercy and truth, that they may preserve him.
  ט  כֵּן אֲזַמְּרָה שִׁמְךָ לָעַד--    לְשַׁלְּמִי נְדָרַי, יוֹם יוֹם.	9 So will I sing praise unto Thy name for ever, that I may daily perform my vows.{P}

  plus the words משיח בא [Mashiah is coming] equals 5776.
• 3 שעות
• The Gr"a on the Mechilta (on Shemot 14:20) and in Midrash Talpiyot (entry "Gog") [YY- I could not find this written at either of these sources], say that the Gog Umagog War will begin 3 hours before sunrise of Hoshana Rabba and will last only 3 hours.  And this is why we pray "הושענא שלש שעות".   
• R' Nachman Koch adds that the period of the prophets ended in the year 3448 when Haggai, Zecharia, and Malachi died, as is brought down in Seder Hadorot.  And the final prophecy was about the Final Redemption:

  כג  הִנֵּה אָנֹכִי שֹׁלֵחַ לָכֶם, אֵת אֵלִיָּה הַנָּבִיא--לִפְנֵי, בּוֹא יוֹם יְהוָה, הַגָּדוֹל, וְהַנּוֹרָא.

  23 Behold, I will send you Elijah the prophet before the coming of the great and terrible day of the LORD.

  And if we calculate from this year 3 times שעות, or תשע"ו, we will get to 5776 exactly.  And this is what Haza"l hinted to with הושענא ג' שעות, i.e. the year 5776, after 3 times שעות from the end of the period of the prophets passes.
• It's brought down in the name of R' Michel Zilber Shlit"a that we see from the introduction of Rav Nissim Gaon that's printed at the end of Messechet Berachot that Am Yisrael counted their documents to this year that the prophecy stopped since they saw this idea as the main destruction.

• אלול תשע"ו [Elul 5776] is the gematria of המשיח מתגלה [the Mashiah will be revealed] plus the 2 words.
