Shavua tov. Thanks as always for your insightful posts. I was reading the Or HaChaim on this Parasha, and wanted to share something interesting he revealed that might be related to the 1950 posts you recently shared.
The Or HaChaim analysed the verse ליל שמורים ...הוא להי and said this pasuk refers to the miracles HKBH performed at night. He cited 4 major instances in history, and for the 5th, said so too will the final Geula come at night.
He explained the reference to the Geula are in the words: “שמורים לכל בני ישראל לדרותם” Interestingly, the gematria of this Pasuk is 1949.
Maybe this is relevant to your 1950 posts, maybe not. Thought I’d share with you either way.

Actually, the way the Torah writes those words are missing the 2 vavs:
שִׁמֻּרִים לְכָל-בְּנֵי יִשְׂרָאֵל לְדֹרֹתָם
which puts the gematria at 1947.
That number may be useful if we would use the secular year for the Hurban (70 CE) and either use the kollel to add 1 or say that a full year from Tish'a Be'av hadn't yet passed.
However, I'd prefer to use the Jewish traditional year for the Hurban (68 CE) to get 1950 so this pasuk falls a bit short.
I appreciate the effort.
