Rav Fish's Esther Geula ALB"M Hiddush
Esther 2:22:
| 22 And the thing became known to Mordecai, who told it unto Esther the queen; and Esther told the king thereof in Mordecai's name. |
Pirkei Avot 6:6:
...כל האומר דבר בשם אומרו מביא גאולה לעולם שנאמר (אסתר ב) ותאמר אסתר למלך בשם מרדכי...whoever says something in the name of the one who said it brings redemption to the world, as it says (Esther 2) "and Esther told the king thereof in Mordecai's name."
Rav Fish notes that the words אסתר למלך בשם מרדכי have the Rashei Teivot of אלב"ם, which is the name of one of the well-known Alef Bet coding methods. This method takes the 22 letters of the Alef Bet and splits it in half. It then exchanges the 1st letter for the 12th and vice-versa, the 2nd for the 13th and vice-versa, the 3rd for the 14th and vice-versa, etc. Therefore, the letter א is exchanged with the letter ל, the letter ב is exchanged with the letter מ, etc. Hence the name אלב"ם.
What is fascinating is that if you then take the אלב"ם of these same words whose Rashei Teivot are אלב"ם:
אסתר למלך בשם מרדכי
you get:
לדכט אבאת מיב בטסתש
which is nonsensical, but the gematria of which = 1290, the Sod of Daniel.
And just like the next verse in Daniel says that those who are fortunate will reach 1335, so too anyone who says something in the name of the one who said it just like Esther did (sourced by the verse אסתר למלך בשם מרדכי whose אלב"ם gematria - which is hinted to by its Rashei Teivot - equals 1290) will bring גאולה to the world. How so? The word גאולה, whose gematria equals 45, is added to the 1290 to reach 1335.
אשרי המחכה ויגיע [Happy is he that waiteth, and cometh] indeed.
