Who is "yaak"? I'm a half-Sepharadi, half-Ashkenazi, Haredi Zionist. I hope that clears it all up. :-) I went to a Haredi elementary school, a mixed Haredi/modern high school, Haredi Yeshiva in Israel, and back to a mixed Yeshiva after that. I have a masters degree in computer science and Semicha. BA"H Mash'ala, I'm married to a wonderful wife with 6 great children. These things keep happening. Within the last four? years, Qorban Yishmael Day fell on Yom Kippur, and there was a massive trampling death toll in Mecca after a Panic started while throngs were walking through a tunnel on Yom Kippur that year. The tenth of that particular Muslim lunar month is commemmorated as the date that Ibrahim brought Yishmael up as a Qorban. Besides the fact that Islam could not come up with anything original to commemmorate except to culturally appropriate an incident in Jewish history, I really thought that that was the end of Malkhut Yishmael, to no avail.
