Yom Ha'atzma'ut and This Year

Rut 3:13:

13 Tarry this night, and it shall be in the morning, that if he will perform unto thee the part of a kinsman, well; let him do the kinsman's part; but if he be not willing to do the part of a kinsman to thee, then will I do the part of a kinsman to thee, as the LORD liveth; lie down until the morning.'

Note the big Nun in the word ליני.  The Zohar and others give this verse a Geula meaning.

The night refers to Galut.  The Milui (Ha'alfin) of the letters לי_י הלילה have the gematria of 294.  The big Nun is referred to as a נון רבתי in Hebrew.  The Milui (Ha'alfin) of the phrase נון רבתי is 1583.  Altogether, it's 1877.  Add the 2 words and the Kollel and you have 1880.  There were 1880 years from the destruction of the Beit Hamikdash in 3828 until the State of Israel was founded in 5708.

The Ariza"l notes that the word חי is Yesod and Hashem is Tiferet, and that there is a Geula hint that cannot be written down.

Many have said that the idea is that Yom Ha'atzma'ut, originally on the 5th of Iyyar, is during the Sefira of Yesod ShebeTiferet - the 20th day of the Omer - and that was a major Geula date.

Perhaps, the last words from the verse - חי ה' שכבי עד הבקר - hint to the current year since the gematria of those 5 words plus the words, letters, and Kollel equals 779.

Perhaps, we can say that just as the difference between עלות השחר and הנץ החמה is 72 minutes, similarly, the difference between the end of לילה and metaphoric sunrise is 72 years.  After 71 years of the State of Israel, we are currently in its 72nd year.  We just needed to lie down until actual morning.  But sunrise can occur any day now.

May it come soon with mercy.
