Shemot 22:5:

ה  כִּי-תֵצֵא אֵשׁ וּמָצְאָה קֹצִים, וְנֶאֱכַל גָּדִישׁ, אוֹ הַקָּמָה, אוֹ הַשָּׂדֶה--שַׁלֵּם יְשַׁלֵּם, הַמַּבְעִר אֶת-הַבְּעֵרָה.  {ס}

5 If fire break out, and catch in thorns, so that the shocks of corn, or the standing corn, or the field are consumed; he that kindled the fire shall surely make restitution. {S}

Bava Kamma 60a (Daf | Text & English):

אר"ש בר נחמני א"ר יונתן אין פורענות באה לעולם אלא בזמן שהרשעים בעולם ואינה מתחלת אלא מן הצדיקים תחלה שנאמר כי תצא אש ומצאה קוצים אימתי אש יוצאה בזמן שקוצים מצוין לה ואינה מתחלת אלא מן הצדיקים תחלה שנאמר ונאכל גדיש ואכל גדיש לא נאמר אלא ונאכל גדיש שנאכל גדיש כבר:

§ The Gemara cites an aggadic midrash based on this verse: Rabbi Shmuel bar Naḥmani says that Rabbi Yonatan says: Calamity befalls the world only when wicked people are in the world, but the calamity begins only with the righteous first, as it is stated in the verse: “If a fire breaks out, and catches in thorns, so that a stack of grain, or standing grain, or the field, is consumed” (Exodus 22:5). When does the fire, i.e., calamity, emerge? At a time when the thorns, i.e., the wicked, are found with it. But calamity begins only from the righteous first, as it is stated in the continuation of the verse: “And a stack of grain is consumed [vene’ekhal].” It is not stated: If a fire breaks out, and catches in thorns, and consumes [ve’akhal] the stack of grain; rather, it states: “A stack of grain is consumed,” meaning that the stack, i.e., the righteous, has already been consumed before the thorns.

Note that the words תצא אש (fire will break out) has the gematria of 792.  This is the same gematria as:

פיטסבורג, פאוויי, ג'רזי סיטי (Pittsburgh, Poway, Jersey City)

The gunfire broke out in each of these 3 locations. 

Does this mean calamity will now befall the world?  I hope not, but if that is Hashem's plan, I hope that it is followed by the ultimate good tidings.

ונאכל גדיש - referring to, as the gemara says, the righteous victims who were slaughtered - has the gematria of 424.  This is the same gematria as משיח בן דוד.

The 2 Jewish victims of Jersey City are:

לאה מינדל פערענץ (HY"D)
משה הירש דייטש (HY"D)

The total gematria of their names equals 1923.  That is the same gematria as:

כ  לָמָּה לָנֶצַח תִּשְׁכָּחֵנוּ, תַּעַזְבֵנוּ לְאֹרֶךְ יָמִים.

20 Wherefore dost Thou forget us for ever, and forsake us so long time?

כא  הֲשִׁיבֵנוּ יְהוָה אֵלֶיךָ ונשוב (וְנָשׁוּבָה), חַדֵּשׁ יָמֵינוּ כְּקֶדֶם.
