Corona Hints

• We recently read in Parashat Beshalah in the introduction to Parashat Haman:

א  וַיִּסְעוּ, מֵאֵילִם, וַיָּבֹאוּ כָּל-עֲדַת בְּנֵי-יִשְׂרָאֵל אֶל-מִדְבַּר-סִין, אֲשֶׁר בֵּין-אֵילִם וּבֵין סִינָי--בַּחֲמִשָּׁה עָשָׂר יוֹם לַחֹדֶשׁ הַשֵּׁנִי, לְצֵאתָם מֵאֶרֶץ מִצְרָיִם.

1 And they took their journey from Elim, and all the congregation of the children of Israel came unto the wilderness of Sin, which is between Elim and Sinai, on the fifteenth day of the second month after their departing out of the land of Egypt.

קורונה = 367
מדבר סין (עם הכולל) = 367

Sin (China) is a spiritual desert.

• Also,

 (Wuhan) ווהאן = 68
חיים (לשון סגי נהור) = 68

• Many already pointed out:

קורונה = 367
אכל אבר מן החי = 367

• Others have pointed out the Rashi on אל תאכלו ממנו נא:

שאינו צלוי כל צורכו קוראו נא

• Eiver Min Hahai is learned from the following verses:

For Benei No'ah - Bereishit 9:4:

ד  אַךְ-בָּשָׂר, בְּנַפְשׁוֹ דָמוֹ לֹא תֹאכֵלוּ.

4 Only flesh with the life thereof, which is the blood thereof, shall ye not eat.

For Jews - Devarim 12:23:

כג  ... וְלֹא-תֹאכַל הַנֶּפֶשׁ, עִם-הַבָּשָׂר.

23 ... and thou shalt not eat the life with the flesh.

The gematria of both these verses together (using 500 for the ך) + the words and letters is 4124.

נגיף הקורונה בווהאן שבסין שבט ה'תש"פ (also using big gematrias for final letters) + the kollel is 4124.

• Sod1820 points out verses in Yehezkel talking about Hashem pouring His wrath on Sin and it shaking with fear:

טו  וְשָׁפַכְתִּי חֲמָתִי, עַל-סִין מָעוֹז מִצְרָיִם; וְהִכְרַתִּי, אֶת-הֲמוֹן נֹא.	15 And I will pour My fury upon Sin, the stronghold of Egypt; and I will cut off the multitude of No.
טז  וְנָתַתִּי אֵשׁ, בְּמִצְרַיִם--חוּל תחיל (תָּחוּל) סִין, וְנֹא תִּהְיֶה לְהִבָּקֵעַ; וְנֹף, צָרֵי יוֹמָם.	16 And I will set a fire in Egypt; Sin shall be in great convulsion, and No shall be rent asunder; and in Noph shall come adversaries in the day-time.

• Also, Sod1820 points out verses in Yeshaya about those who eat detestable things being destroyed by Hashem:

טו  כִּי-הִנֵּה יְהוָה בָּאֵשׁ יָבוֹא, וְכַסּוּפָה מַרְכְּבֹתָיו--לְהָשִׁיב בְּחֵמָה אַפּוֹ, וְגַעֲרָתוֹ בְּלַהֲבֵי-אֵשׁ.	15 For, behold, the LORD will come in fire, and His chariots shall be like the whirlwind; to render His anger with fury, and His rebuke with flames of fire.
טז  כִּי בָאֵשׁ יְהוָה נִשְׁפָּט, וּבְחַרְבּוֹ אֶת-כָּל-בָּשָׂר; וְרַבּוּ, חַלְלֵי יְהוָה.	16 For by fire will the LORD contend, and by His sword with all flesh; and the slain of the LORD shall be many.
יז  הַמִּתְקַדְּשִׁים וְהַמִּטַּהֲרִים אֶל-הַגַּנּוֹת, אַחַר אחד (אַחַת) בַּתָּוֶךְ, אֹכְלֵי בְּשַׂר הַחֲזִיר, וְהַשֶּׁקֶץ וְהָעַכְבָּר--יַחְדָּו יָסֻפוּ, נְאֻם-יְהוָה.	17 They that sanctify themselves and purify themselves to go unto the gardens, behind one in the midst, eating swine's flesh, and the detestable thing, and the mouse, shall be consumed together, saith the LORD.

• Also, Rav Fish points out that there is a connection of Corona and Paras in the verse:

לב  וְתִיטַב לַיהוָה, מִשּׁוֹר פָּר;    מַקְרִן מַפְרִיס.

32 And it shall please the LORD better than a bullock that hath horns and hoofs.

and, among other things, he says that מקרן מפריס is the gematria of תש"פ.
