Esther Pollard A"H

Esther Pollard, wife of Jonathan Pollard, passed away yesterday.  She fought tirelessly for his release and devoted her life to getting him free to live in Eretz Yisrael.  There is much to learn from this special woman.

At the funeral, someone mentioned an interesting gematria comparison:

אסתר יוכבד פולארד = 1024 (Esther Yocheved Pollard)

שישוחרר = 1024 (that he will be freed)

ראש חודש אדר = 1024 (Rosh Hodesh Adar)

I'll add:

אשת פולארד = 1024 (the wife of Pollard) +  the 2 words

1024 is also 2¹⁰ - showing that just as the number 2, when it is multiplied by itself just a few times, becomes a large number, similarly, the power of two people - Yehonatan and Esther - changed the world in unimaginable ways.
