Access to Kotel for all

Arutz Sheva reports:

(IsraelNN.com) The government has completed paving a 120-meter path that enables wheelchair-bound people unimpeded access to the Western Wall.

Two elevators also have been installed to help the handicapped arrive to the Wall, one of the most popular places in Israel.

The first Mishna in Hagiga says that a Higger (lame) is exempt from being Oleh Regel, but modern technology is making it easier for them.
אַשְׁרֶיךָ יִשְׂרָאֵל מִי כָמוֹךָ for those who want to do Mitzvot even when exempt.
