Tsunami-Kabbalist: Mashiah in Our Days
The Tsunami-predicting Kabbalist has declared that if it wouldn't be forbidden to do so, he would take a Sefer Torah and swear in front of the congregation that this generation will merit seeing Mashiah and the resurrection of the dead.
He also said that Mashiah's name is hinted to by 4 sages. They are the Lubavitcher Rebbe (מ from מנחם), Rav Shach (ש from שך), the Baba Sali (י from ישראל), and Rav Kaduri (ח from חדורי, which is the original and correct spelling and pronunciation of his name).
Hashem1.net points out that Rav Ovadiah Yosef said in a shiur that the Gemara in Sanhedrin 98b mentions another case of this:
אמר רבי יוחנן: לא נברא לעולם אלא למשיח, ומה שמו? (דבי רבי שילה אמרי) שילֹה שמו, שנאמר: עד כי יבוא שילה, ולו יקהת עמים. דבי רבי ינאי אמרי ינון שמו, שנאמר: יהי שמו לעולם, לפני שמש - ינון שמו. דבי רבי חנינה אמר חנינה שמו, שנאמר: אשר לא אתן לכם חנינה. ויש אומרים מנחם שמו, שנאמר: כי רחק ממני מנחם משיב נפשי
He said that since Rav Kaduri is in the situation that he's in, we are left without political and religious leadership - exactly the right time for Mashiah to come.

My thought on what is written, however, is: Since the Ben Ish Hai and the Lubavitcher Rebbe both told Rav Kaduri that he would live to greet Moshiach, and considering the present condition of Rav Kaduri (He should be well very soon), perhaps Rav Kaduri has ALREADY met Moshiach, knows who he is, because the Rav stated while in the hospital, that "the Redemption has arrived."

Yaak - enjoy the blog. Keep in mind the key is to allow current events to affect YOU... to bring redemption to you personally. Mr. T. recommended I read your blog. So far it's kind of interesting, and all kinds of predictions come and go...but the main thing is what effect it has inside of you. Who is this Rabbi?
Anonymous, if you're using Internet Explorer version 5 or later, you should be able to right-click in the page, choose "Encoding" and from there, select Hebrew (Windows). If not, there are other solutions to being able to display Hebrew.
Golusman, Mr. T told me that he spoke to you. I've seen your site before and I thought it was you, but I wasn't 100% sure. The effects of the predictions on each person are the Ikkar - I agree. Nice vort on the Parsha.
Aaron, I don't know who the rabbi is, but some details about him are mentioned here (in Hebrew).
This raises a red flag. Why does this website refuse to identify him? And what is the evidence that he "foresaw" the tsunami?

If the Rav will know that they're being published in his name, he will stop talking freely about this subjects. However he said that this is a Kabbalist Rav who also teaches Kabbala, and one of the renowned tzadikim in our generation, from a known dynasty, recommends people to learn Kabbalah only with him. He himself learned from a renowned tzadik זצוק"ל known for his wonder making and his future sight. The lesson is not given in a Charedi (ultra-orthodox) city, because of a request by the tzadik from the famous dynasty.

What about the evidence that he 'foresaw' the tsunami?
INTERESTING POST BUT STILL IS CONFUSION. THE NEW TIME HAS STARTED AND ISRAEL AND THE WORLD IS NOT IN IT, BUT OUT OF TIME.
IF THERE ARE TWO PARALEL WORLDS, ONE IS MOVING AND CHANGING BUT THE OTHER NOT. HUMANITY LIVES IN THE REALITY THAT DOESN'T CHANGE. THERE IS FEAR AND CONFUSION NOW EVERYWHERE. THE ONE THAT WE ARE LOOKING IS IN THE OTHER PARALEL WORLD OR REALITY WHERE THE NEW DAY STARTED. THE SUN OF MESSIAH IS THERE BUT WE CAN NOT SEE BECAUSE WE LIVE IN THE DARK WORLD WHERE IS NIGHT STILL AND IT CAN'T CHANGE...

I have no evidence. That doesn't mean it doesn't exist. He supposedly said in his weekly Shiur a day before the Tsunami occurred that something terrible will happen very soon either in India or California.
Use your own judgement if you want to take what he says seriously or not.
