Incapacitated leader wins primary
(Sorry. Wrong election.)
Here's the important election news:
Rav Aharon Leib Shteinman was B"H not injured in a car accident while campaining for UTJ.
Rav Ovadia tells overseas voters that it's obligatory to come to Israel and vote Shas.
Teimani leader: Vote Shas

While news reports speculating on elections are generally guesses at best (and slurs at worst), they keep saying this:
"It is assumed that Labor, Shas and Torah Judaism are certain to join Kadima's coalition."
They also assumed that Shas will join the disengagement government by Sharon. They were wrong. Eli Yishay got a proposal for 600 millions Shekels for Shas back then, but Shas refused.
Thank you anonymous.
It's highly unlikely Shas will join a Kadima coalition, but if it does, I'm almost positive that it will leave before any withdrawls take place. No Shas leader will think to trust Hamas.
