Stop the Parade!
Arutz Sheva has a nice article on the unity of all religious Jews to try to stop the To'eva Parade that is planned to take place in the holy city of Yerushalayim.
Here is an excerpt:
An unsigned poster to be hung on Jerusalem streets quotes Biblical verses referring to the punishment reserved for those who commit "sins of abomination," and then warns threateningly, "Jewish governments that support, silently or otherwise, this parade and the departure of holiness from Israel, and their courts and law-enforcers - they are all guilty and responsible for the grave results that are foreseen as a result of this parade and [that could happen] during the parade, Heaven forbid..."
The poster continues, "As everyone already knows, on the eve of Sabbath Vayera [when the destruction of Sodom and Gomorra is retold], the loyal Jewish public is threatened by a march of the abominators in Jerusalem - a giant parade with the permission of the police and the Supreme Court... For such sins, the Torah warns clearly that the Land will vomit out its inhabitants... Will you [sit] closed up in your home and wait for destruction, Heaven forbid?"

Isn't it something that every date they've chosen for their parade has special significance?
Yaak,
I would not be surprised if the violence that occurred during last year's parade will look like a tea party in comparison to what is going to happen this year.
Having failed miserably to rally together against the abomination of August last year, we are given another chance.
Batya, you seem to be right.
Cosmic, I wouldn't either. I wish the police would understand this and just cancel it already.
Anonymous, interesting point. It seems that everyone from all streams are motivated this time - as opposed to last time, where it wasn't everyone. We'll see what happens.
I know it's late in the game, but I am spearheading a blog movement to protest the march. All interested blogmasters who would like a button to put on their sites should email me.

JHK
A local rav has pointed out that instead of making a new try of it next summer (as these always take place in summer), here they are making another attempt now with even the winter rains already started. Why? Because there is no more time for them to act. It's now or never. Let this thought be an encouragement to all of us to see this through and not hold back at the last moment.

Yeshu-worshipper, idolaters earn the same penalty as sodomites.
