i feel completely out of touch w/ the world.. what's going on? I'm sitting here in Jerusalem, unaware of the sanhedrin's latest message at all .. but even more confusing.. not sure what decree from what evil king they are talking about? (i guess they mean iran, but has anything specific happened?)
and then they say, only hashem can save us...and don't rely on anyone else, and then practically in the same breath, get out of any areas that might be nuked and stick close to arab settlements..???
am i the only confused one?

Yitz, there is a decree against "Tel Aviv". Can it be annulled? Surely, but it is better to get out of there, and for the government to provide means to get out of there.
I do not see a reason for confusion. Taking hold of the Land may be the way to save the nation, in addition to the fasting and praying. Sanhedrin does not have to detail all the reasons for their call. Just listen.
