Rav Dahan: Lubavitcher Rebbe = Mashiah...Ben Yosef

Rav Dahan said in his Shiur for Parshat Terumah that the Lubavitcher Rebbe, Zt"l, was the Mashiah ben Yosef.

He said some other interesting things too.

This idea has a long history. Virtually every veiled messiah hinted that they are a messiah son of Yosef - from Abraham Miguel Cardozo, to Ramchal, to Reb be Nachman of Breslov. This is a "wastebasket' of messianic idea in Judaism. Another Zoharic idea that alows a candidate to hope for being a messiah but does not require poltical proof is being a nitsots of Moshe R. The Lubavitcher Rebbe is said by many followers to also be a nitsots of Moshe R.

As a breslov Chassid you should read again 'The Turkey Prince' and remember that Rebbe Nachman said that he will light untill Messiah comes.

The Lubavitcher Rebbe, being MBY, fought the spiritual and physical battles with the the Tzivot HaShem Army and Mitzvah Tanks.

I have a list of candidates offered on various forums for MBY - who are living or lived in the past 20 years:

Rabbi Meir Kahane
Rav Kaduri
Jonathan Pollard
Moshe Feiglin
Lubavitcher Rebbe

However, I tend to give more credence to a name offered by a Kabbalist about someone else.

I didn't make these up. I've seen these suggested on various websites.
