Who is "yaak"? I'm a half-Sepharadi, half-Ashkenazi, Haredi Zionist. I hope that clears it all up. :-) I went to a Haredi elementary school, a mixed Haredi/modern high school, Haredi Yeshiva in Israel, and back to a mixed Yeshiva after that. This is great news. Two weeks ago I walked to the Old City and I saw the "almost rebuilt" Hurva.
It's about time. Such a shame that it took 40 years.
It should have remainded a ruin with a sign saying:
"This is what Jordan did to our Holy sites in our Holy City."
Only if Jordan had donated the money should it have been rebuilt.
