Headline of the Day

VIN: Jerusalem - Israel is Due, and ill Prepared, For a Major Earthquake

This headline is נוקב ויורד עד תהום - both figuratively and literally.

Zecharia 14:4:

And His feet shall stand in that day upon the mount of Olives, which is before Jerusalem on the east, and the mount of Olives shall cleft in the midst thereof toward the east and toward the west, so that there shall be a very great valley; and half of the mountain shall remove toward the north, and half of it toward the south.

Due indeed. Ill-prepared indeed.

May we prepare and merit salvation.
May salvation even come to those who are not prepared.

I had a thought, (and do everytime someone writes about what you did) that if the arabs ended up in most of E J'lem and north and south of there, and then the earthquake came, down the Kidron Valley, with such a separation, that maybe, just maybe, many of them would be swallowed up, and then miraculously more of the ancient second Temple would be exposed; then more restoration would busy the archaeologists, and when they finished, the Midrash about the Temple of Gold would come down from Shamayim.

I guess I'm dreaming!!
