Who is "yaak"? I'm a half-Sepharadi, half-Ashkenazi, Haredi Zionist. I hope that clears it all up. :-) I went to a Haredi elementary school, a mixed Haredi/modern high school, Haredi Yeshiva in Israel, and back to a mixed Yeshiva after that. We Conservatives tried to warn the Libs among us, but, as usual, they "knew better." Sadly, many of them are still under the illusion that Obama is our friend. Yeah, riiiiiight!
Well, the Brits do have a legend of Gog and Magog. They even feature them in parades, call them "the traditional guardians of the city of London" and even exported the concept of them to Australia (once dominated by Britain) for use as statues to adorn public places.
