Rav Ovadia Shlit"a to Rav Amar Shlit"a: I Forgive You

This headline, as posted on Kikar, made my day, month, and year:

מרן הרב עובדיה יוסף לרב עמאר: "אני מוחל וסולח לך"

It is at this opportunity that I ask forgiveness from anyone whom I may have slighted in an act of commission or ommision whether knowingly or unknowingly. I am truly sorry and beg your forgiveness.

May the Adon Haselihot forgive all of us this Yom Kippur and may we be inscribed in the Book of Mehila, Seliha, and Kappara.

May we all, klal Yisrael, be forgiven for our sins that we are aware of and those we are not aware of, and our judgments sweetened because we are all like kidnapped children. The galut of almost 2000 years has had its impact. H' yifdeh et kol Yisrael mikol avonotov! Gmar Chatimah Tovah!
