Rav Shmuel Eliyahu and Rav Fish See Yerushalayim Snow as a Geula Sign

You can see Rav Eliyahu's words here.

You can see Rav Fish's words here.

I think that snow on the 10th of Tevet puts Kerry's nine months (which began around Tu B'Av) into perspective and allowed for a siege of Yerushalayim on the 10th of Tevet to come as a result of 50 to 70 centimeters of snow instead of from the force of arms. I actually saw the Ba'al Kerry being driven around in his motorcade on Rehov Yigal Yadin on his way back from Ramallah on that fateful Friday around Chatzot. He was snarling traffic in a snarled city as it was, showing no consideration for the predicament of Yerushalmis whose life he wants to make more difficult. What a piece of garbage he is! So HaShem sent just under 2 feet of record snow rather than an international Army to do the job....even if the Ba'al Kerry schemes to send that Army during this Nisan. By that time at least his nine months will be complete. The snow storm seemed to show that HaShem was maskim with his count of the nine months, sending the snow siege in the middle of Kerry's count while the road hog was being driven around being karcha baDerekh as people with his Amalekite heritage are wont to do.

There really is not a lot of wiggle room left in this Shmittah cycle. The War between Persia and the West is supposed to last a full year according to Medrash Sefer Eliyahu, and The Talmud is clear that that war takes place in the Shmittah year. Zecharia 14 tells us that the nuclear effects on the human body take place as a punishment for the nations that come up against Yerushalayim prior to that war, and we read that haftarah on Sukkkot because the Mt. of Olives will split in two during Sukkot, maybe on the first day of Sukkot too. This means that the all out attempt to divide Yerushalayim must take place in the 6th year, 5774 in order to trigger the punishments in the 7th year. The only question to be answered is did the nine months b'Poal begin during Av to end on Pesach b'Rachamim? Or will the nine months begin during Shevat (January) and end in Sukkot 5775 b'Din? Unless I am reading these possibilities incorrectly, there are really no other options for this Shmittah cycle.
