Rav Chaim Kanievsky Tells MKs a Mashiah Message

Kikar reports that MKs Gafni, Maklev, and Asher came to visit Rav Chaim Kanievsky Shlit"a.  Part of what he told them was that:

We are currently in the generation that [Mashiah] Ben David comes.  And the gemara says that then is when the troubles for Torah learners will strenghthen.  Specifically because we are currently in the footsteps of Mashiah is why there are a lot of decrees [against us].
