Yet Another Rav Chaim Kanievsky Statement on Mashiah

This isn't the first time that visitors to Maran Sar Hatorah Haga'on Rav Chaim Kanievsky's home have heard from him about the need to strengthen oneself and to prepare to greet the face of Mashiah. However, it was learned by Kooker that Haga'on Rav Chaim Kanievsky used a rare expression when Haga'on Rav Moshe Blau brought the book he authored on Shemitta "Pa'amei Moshe" before him. One of the visitors of Rav Chaim Kanievsky who was present at the meeting told Kooker what transpired in the rabbi's room:
Rav Moshe Blau, on Friday, about an hour and a half before Shabbat started, went up to the Rav's home to present the new book that he wrote about Shemitta - Pa'amei Moshe. First, he waited about 10 minutes until the Rav lifted his eyes up from a book, and when he presented the book, Haga'on Rav Chaim said, "Now, publish a book about Yovel." Those who were standing in the room were amazed from the statements which symbolize that we are closer than usual to the coming of Mashiah and are currently in Hevlei Mashiah.The response, which came to us from testimony of someone who was present in the room, is a rare expression from Haga'on Rav Chaim. The one who heard it, who stays often in the home of Haga'on Rav Chaim, added that the members of the household were left shocked by the surprising response.
The associate added that he built up the courage to ask Haga'on Rav Chaim, "From where does the Rav know that Mashiah is at the doorstep?"
Haga'on Rav Chaim answered, "הִנֵּה-זֶה עוֹמֵד, אַחַר כָּתְלֵנוּ--מַשְׁגִּיחַ מִן-הַחַלֹּנוֹת, מֵצִיץ מִן-הַחֲרַכִּים".
Someone who was present in the room asked, "Shelomo Hamelech said this over 3000 years ago. How is this connected to today?"
Haga'on Rav Chaim answered, "He said this then, but he meant it for today."
At the end of our conversation, the associate denied the false reports that were publicized in the name of Rabbanit Leah Kolodetsky that Mashiah was revealed to her father and said that we have a great war before us before the Geula comes on Motza'ei Shevi'it. The associate related that Haga'on Rav Chaim was asked about the story and said, "Falsehood and lies. It never happened and was never created."

Excellent and inspiring post, but one little technicality. With us getting the Beis Hamikdash this year (or next at the latest), we would start to count the 50 years next year in 5776 and wouldn't need the book for 50 years. Actually no problem; I would love to study the Yovel starting now.

Yovel doesn't apply nowadays and only applies when all of Israel is on their land. That will only occur again when Mashiah comes.

When Moshoiach comes - will all of the yiddn in CHUL get on planes?
Where will they stay? I assume we will build tent cities like the aliyot in the 50s.
Also properties in CHUL? They will lose over 50% of their value i guess when nobody wants to live in Monsey, far rockaway, golders green etc.

Perhaps the Gaon HaRav Chaim is referring to the fact that the 6 Day War and the reunification of Yerushalayim was on another Motzei Shmittah year 5727. Seven Shmittah cycles/years are now coming to conclusion since that miraculous war. It is time for a Yovel of sorts. According to Rav Chaim Vital, Mashiach awaits at Sha'ar Nun (The 50th Gate). The 50th Gate to what? Since the Ba'al Teshuvah movement when masses started to return began with the miracle of the 6 Day War, those who have been repenting starting in that year, have now been perfecting themselves for 49 years getting ready for the next step in the process which begins at Sha'ar Nun. Or it could be the 50th Gate to/in Yerushalayim. All the other gates (the first 49 gates) can be classified as mundane gates. The 50th Gate has to be a Gateway to Holiness (either dealing with the spirit of Mashiach or the Holy Temple or both). A book on Yovel would discuss all these issues.
Also the 6 Day War began on the 41st day of the counting of the Omer (Yesod that is in Yesod). The Temple Mt. was liberated for one day on the 3rd day of that war because Avraham and Yitzchak saw Har Moriah and ascended on the 3rd day of their journey. The Erev Rav Generals were not found to be worthy though. Included in that is the fact they found the Temple Mt. being in our hands to be a nuisance to the things that they thought were important. 5727 was the first year of 48th 49 year Yovel cycle since Ezra HaSofer reset the cycles (50 years during Bayit Sheini and 49 year cycles after the Churban Bayit Sheini). The 48th cycle is Yesod that is in Malkhut. Our present year is the 49th year (Malkhut that is in Malkhut year) of the 48th Yovel cycle since Ezra HaSofer. 5776 is the first year of the Malkhut that is in Malkhut Yovel cycle. It has David written all over it.

Malchut She B'Malchut 5776 means that the women in Israel might have to play a leading role in spiritual leadership both in our own camp and also with the rest of the people. The Moshiach will address the people, ladies first, perhaps. And may each Jew be zocheh to receive his B'chinat Moshiach within and be strenghtened to serve HaShem with vigor, joy and a good and ample parnassah.
