Hurricane Joaquin as a Sign
R' Dov Bar Leib commented in a number of sites and also wrote a post on Mystical Paths about Hurricane Joaquin, which may very well hit the East Coast of the US, being named for King Yehoyachin. And he notes that if it hits the US, it will likely hit it on Hoshana Rabba.
Just to add in my two cents, I commented the following regarding King Yehoyachin:
He was exiled in the year 3327. That means that that was 2448+ years ago1. Perhaps, that's the idea behind the verse כימי צאתך מארץ מצרים אראנו נפלאות. What's the idea with "כימי"? Couldn't it just say כצאתך מארץ מצרים אראנו נפלאות? Perhaps, it's telling us the days from Creation to the Exodus are the days from Galut Yehoyachin until Mashiah.
For those who like gematria, one can add that:
כִּימֵי צֵאתְךָ מֵאֶרֶץ מִצְרָיִם is the same gematria as מגלות יהויכין עד למשיח צדקנו
1. According to Babylonian sources, the exile took place in the month of Adar.

According to Wikipedia and some other sites, it stems from יהויקים, but most other sources that came up in Google said it stems from יהויכין. I'll go with the latter.

It was a "Biblical" Flood in the Carolinas. It may have to do with the legitimate land claims of the Cherokee nation who was expelled from South Carolina over 180 years ago. BUT at least with regards to Israel, they are not hypocrites there. South Carolina is one of the most pro-Israel states in the US, whose Republican voters chose Newt Gingrich in the Republican Primary back in 2012 after he called the Palestinians an invented people at the Rep. Foreign Policy debate. So you don't hear much talk of the Jews in Israel living on stolen land in South Carolina. So at least, and this is important, they are not hypocrites in South Carolina. All this leaves me wondering...Why did this "Messianic" storm target the Carolinas on Hoshana Rabbah with a Flood that it has not seen in over 1000 years?
One of the reasons why we should not accept money and assistance from goyim and America is that as long as they support Israel, the running out of their zekhuth gets postponed.
Let's please let it run out already!
