5779 and 6 Pesukim in Yeshaya

On the first page of Rav Fish's latest newsletter, he notes that there is a concept of merely changing the first letter of a word to its אתב"ש equivalent and taking its gematria.  This is famously known from Rashi on Bemidbar 7:20 where he changes the ק of קטרת to a ד to make the gematria of 613.

That being the case, Rav Fish continues, we can then use this with the words בעתה and אחישנה.

בעתה can be changed to שעתה which has the gematria of 775, and when you add the 4 letters, it makes 779.

אחישנה can be changed to תחישנה which has the gematria of 773, and when you add the 6 letters, it makes 779.

So it comes out that both בעתה and אחישנה refer to 779.

Also interesting is that 5 verses earlier in Yeshaya, it states:

17 For brass I will bring gold, and for iron I will bring silver, and for wood brass, and for stones iron; I will also make thy officers peace, and righteousness thy magistrates.

The words depicted in larger letters of this Geula-based verse have a gematria of 779.

Let's continue to the next verse:

18 Violence shall no more be heard in thy land, desolation nor destruction within thy borders; but thou shalt call thy walls Salvation, and thy gates Praise.

Note the 30 letters in the first part of this verse.  We'll come back to that.

The next 2 verses read:
19 The sun shall be no more thy light by day, neither for brightness shall the moon give light unto thee; but the LORD shall be unto thee an everlasting light, and thy God thy glory.
20 Thy sun shall no more go down, Neither shall thy moon withdraw itself; for the LORD shall be thine everlasting light, and the days of thy mourning shall be ended.

The gematria of both these verses together is 5706 - the year after the Holocaust.  That is when Hashem is telling us that the days of our mourning is completed.

The next 2 verses read:

21 Thy people also shall be all righteous, they shall inherit the land for ever; the branch of My planting, the work of My hands, wherein I glory.
כב  הַקָּטֹן יִהְיֶה לָאֶלֶף, וְהַצָּעִיר לְגוֹי עָצוּם; אֲנִי יְהוָה, בְּעִתָּהּ אֲחִישֶׁנָּה.  {ס}22 The smallest shall become a thousand, and the least a mighty nation; I the LORD will hasten it in its time. {S}

Note the 72 letters from the beginning of verse 21 until the word עצום in verse 22.  This may correspond to the 72 years following 5706 - until 5778.  This may possibly correspond to the 72/73 years the Zohar referred to.  Note how during this time period, with Hashem's help, Israel truly became a mighty nation as the verse describes.

If you take the complete אתב"ש of the words אני הויה, you get תטם מצפצ, which has a gematria of 749.  Add that to the 30 letters from the beginning of verse 18, and you get 779.  Those 30 letters in verse 18 talked about the destruction of "Hamas" in the Land of Israel.  When that occurs is when we will clearly see Hashem in this world ('אני ה).

And, as I brought down from Rav Fish earlier, both the words בעתה and the word אחישנה have the same way of getting a 779 gematria from them.

May Hashem hasten it in its time.  May this year be the year we've been waiting for.
