Shabbat Goy Found to be Jewish

Have you checked your Shabbat Goy's Yihus lately?

According to Ladaat, "Boris" is a man used for years by the Nadvorna Rebbe ZT"L as a Shabbat Goy to turn on the lights when they went out.  He then went to Romania for 3 years and returned to the Seret Vizhnitz community in Haifa again as a Shabbat Goy. 

During this time, Hasidim overheard him saying that his mother lit candles Friday night, but this was dismissed as an excuse to be able to make Aliya to Israel.  However, suspicions really started flying when he was overheard humming and singing Jewish songs that he heard in his youth.  Askanim started investigating and decided to bring it to the Rav of the community.

Last week, the community's rabbi - Rav Zoldan - sat with Boris, and after a thorough investigation, declared him to be a Jew and publicized it in the Beit Midrash.

Meanwhile, the Seret Vizhnitz community is now using Boris's son's friend, who seems to be a definite Goy.
