A Tale of 2 Explosions

(IsraelNN.com) Miracle in Gush Katif: A Kassam missile slammed into the roof of a nursery school late last night in the town of Ganei Tal in Gush Katif. Children living in nearby homes, many who attend the school, were awakened by the explosion, but were unharmed.Residents of Ganei Tal added a prayer for thanksgiving to their regular morning prayers.The IDF has not responded to the attack and is not expected to do so.

Meanwhile, in the USA, we were hearing explosions for a good part of the night, and probably weren't woken by them. If we were, we likely went straight back to sleep.

This is just a reminder to those of us stuck in the US Galut: when you hear those fireworks, think about the explosions that are of real concern - like the one that exploded over a nursery school in Gush Katif - and pray for those who may not have gone back to sleep that night.
