Rav Ovadia: All Must Go Pray Wednesday
Arutz Sheva (so far, only in Hebrew) reports that the prayer rally on Wednesday will feature representatives from all walks of Torah-based Jewish life.
Rav Ovadia Yosef said that it is obligatory for all to join in the prayer rally on Wednesday.
He also said, "I pray every day, but we need to make a mass prayer. And even if a sharp knife is placed on a person's neck, one should not give up hope from [Heavenly] mercy," quoting from Berachot 10a.
Update: The English version has it now too.

Months ago, I posited to my children that soon someone would arise and issue a call to every Jew to gather at the Kotel because of some crisis and everyone who came would thereby be spared the consequences of being inside a building during a terrible earthquake which would happen just at that time to destroy both the Knesset and the Dome of the Rock. Every Jew in Yerushalayim who puts his faith in Hashem must be there, as the rabbi has said!
There's a women's t'filah at kotel katan an hour before.
Bli Nedder, I will be at the Kotel today!
