They have a good point at the end of the article.
Mashiach can either come peacefully if we follow the Torah and improve ourselves.
Or it could come the hard way.
It's up to us which one happens.
We might feel insignificant, but our teshuva and effort and prayers really do make a difference
Lvnsm27, according to haShem, He will bring the redemption because of how we discrace His name. For His sake will He do this. Let's hope He has mercy on us. According to the talmudic sources we have to wait until America and Iran hammer it out. The world is preasuring Israel to start it, with America finishing it. Sooner Israel hits, the sooner the geulah.
Rav Nachman Kahane has a fascinating take on the Persia Midrash. He wrote the following four years ago, at Parshat Noach:

How about not doing moshiach blogging - all you're doing is creating controversy and upsetting and sometimes causing panic. And on top of that, the Talmud curses those who to engage in this kind of thing...
Anonymous, I don't create controversy - I may take a side in a controversial topic, but usually I don't even do that.
I challenge you to find one time where I've caused panic.
Regarding calculating the Keitz, that's usually not what I post about - it's usually about Mashiah coming in the very near future, which is different than calculating the Keitz. However, calculating the Keitz has been done by countless Rishonim and Aharonim, and see from here why many say it's permissible to do so nowadays.
