Lamnatzei'ah Mizmor LeDavid - Musical Interlude
Here's a song I made up (not the words obviously, but the tune) and enjoy singing. It comes from Tehillim chapter 20.
I decided to share it with the blog readers.
Admittedly, too many oyoyoys near the end of the song, but you may like it anyways.
This chapter of Tehillim is recited daily when Tahanunim are recited, and is also generally recited during times of distress for Am Yisrael. Let's hope that we have no more such times and that Mashiah Tzidkeinu comes immediately.
Enjoy!

very nice.
funny - I would have expected more of a sfardi accent. for some reason you sounds pretty ashkenazy..
:-)
Yaak,
That was great...thanks for sharing that with us.
I second Rafi's comment about the accent.
Rafi/Cosmic, thanks for your comments.
The pronunciation is Sephardic, but using artistic license, I wasn't makpid on milra and mil'eil in order to fit it in with the tune better. If that's what you call Ashkenazic, then I guess it's Ashkenazic. Also, the tune and the oyoyoys are very Ashkenazic. My mother's side of the family comes out occasionally. :-)
Very inspiring! :-)
I have obtained a lot of information by examining your publish.
