More on the Frogs
The Mishna in Eiduyot 2:10 says that the Makkot lasted 12 months. The Tosefot Yom Tov there quotes the Seder Olam Rabba (chapter 3) that implies that the Makkot started in Iyyar and ended in Nissan. The Tiferet Yisrael there says that each Makka was a little more than a month long.
Let's see: The oil rig blew up on April 20th, which was the 6th of Iyyar. The frogs started closing the highway on May 26th, which was the 13th of Sivan. We start to see the 1 month and 1 week interval.

It may be that we are witnessing little messages from Shomayim, but I don't necessarily think they will happen "in sequence". Should that be so, are there any other occurrences we can deposit into your theory?
why is the Oil spill compared to Dam/blood?
It looks reddish like blood, especially when viewed against the deep blue sea. Also, may be called "dam" because if it kills enough sea life, the sea may very well redden.
If the rest occur, then everyone will applaud.
If not, you're drawing a dot-to-dot on the back of a post-it that's not quite big enough.

This is just one scenario that my mind starts thinking about. Take it with a huge grain of salt.
The 10 plagues where in ascending order from Malchut to Keter.
In Egypt Blood(Dam)smote the river that was the god of the Egyptians. In the US the Blood represents monetary loss (Damim)to the country that serves the god of Mamon.
Tzefarde'a corrresponds to Yesod, afflictng the country Yavan that originated the worship of the "beauty of the body".
If the next in line is Hod, representing the Splendour of the Beth Hamikdash, then Lice (Kinnim) should smite the nation that destroyed it, namely Italy.
But it could take a different route. Only time will tell.

Thanks for pointing that out. My calculation was done quickly and a bit haphazardly. I was hoping that others would correct it.
Then again, maybe a newly formed Sanhedrin (BE"H) will decide not to make an extra month next year (just a thought).
After all, the Mishna says that it's יב חודש - which is 12 months (i.e. part of 12 months) - not 13 months and it doesn't say שנה.
