Gathering to Proliferate the Greatness of Zohar Learning in the End of Days
That's pretty much what the sign says.
See the article and pictures at Ladaat (Hebrew).
An excerpt:
During the great evening, they brought up words about the greatness of learning the Holy Zohar - that they called upon the community who participated to strengthen themselves in the learning of the Holy Zohar, especially when today there is the special commentary "Matok Midevash" which explains the Holy Zohar so that everyone can understand and learn. And only through learning the Holy Zohar will we exit the Galut.

I feel as if we are heading to an historical climax of sorts, in the coming months. The chief of shin bet, Y. Diskin, said in today's jpost that he estimated by September (Tisha B'Av, Rosh Hashana, Yom Kippur, Succos?) would be the "boiling point for he PA".
Netanyahu transferred control for the settlements to the PM's office! Something is brewing. Did you read about his aide Joel Rosenberg, he subscribes to the Yehezkel option: http://habayitah.blogspot.com/2011/01/yehezkel-and-tunisia.html
Imagine the audacity of those amelekites asking the UN to declare our Jewish brothers&sisters' homes to be in their territory!!!!! I feel like joining the Palmach :-) !!
the jews and good gentiles will be redeemed only by limud zohar how ironic only phillip berg was correct on this ! Madonna not the girls in boro park with shteidels who ignore that book at best !
BTW I notice you are reaching a milestone also - in February! Planning anything big?
Anonymous,
Limud Hazohar without a solid Jewish foundation is like eating the frosting without the cake. It may taste yummy, but you're never full. Phillip Berg and his family did a major disservice to Kelal Yisrael by teaching those who should not be taught. You totally misunderstood the point of the post.
Neshama,
Are you referring to my 6th Blogiversary?
Anon
You must have never learned the Zohar yourself. The Zohar uses very strong terms in regards to promiscuity of which the M lady (I don't want to mention her dirty name. She is a daughter of Lil') is the queen of. Anyways, the girls don't need to learn it and the boys in Boro Park know a lot more Zohar and the teachings of Rashbi in Gemara (what's that?) than anyone at the Kabbala center. If you don't strive to live in holiness you cannot absorb the teachings of kabbala properly. As for Berg. While he may have once been a learned person he has gone to the "other side" and his teachings are worthless. That is, except for himself, as he makes a pretty penny off of his "Kabbala". Kabbala means to accept and he does a good job at accepting money from low life celebrities. Hashem Yirachem. May he be zoche to do teshuva.
Learning kabbalah at Michael Berg's Kabbalah Centre is equally as dangerous as the Bnei Baruch kabbalah centres, which you can read about here:
http://mysticalpaths.blogspot.com/2011/01/horror-of-kabbalah-cult.html
The only danger in learning kabbalah is being able to so quickly learn who is to blame for our mess we are in. The wicked Erev Rav are exposed instantly. Such garbage how the erev rav control every aspect of our lives. Sadly Moshe was wrong in allowing them in. A wise man learns from all, that includes Rav Berg. Whether one subscribes to kabbalah or not (I personally take it with a huge grain of salt as it's source is quite questionable)you can still learn much from it. But avoiding or censoring it is from fear that Jews and goyim cannot think for themselves and must be controled in every deed and thought. Wait!, that's just what the Pharoah wanted. Maybe the Mashiach can let us out of the prison that plagues us all.
shilo,
I love reading your post.
However, your comments re: Kabbalah confuse me. Are you talking about Kabbala-blah-blah or, (may I not even compare) our Zohar Ha'adosh with peirush Matok MiDvash? ps I'm personally not 'into' learning Zohar Hakodosh as I am nowhere learned or knowledgeable enough in 'everyday stuff'. But surely you are NOT downplaying it's holy role (of Zohar HaKadosh) in spreading the light to Am Yisrael?!
Good on you Yak!
I personally merited to see, if for just a fleeting moment, the author of Matok MiDvash. Did you hear or read the way he passed on from this world to the next? Well, that in itself 'proves' how holy a neshama was clothed within his holy 'guf'. Would that after 120 we all 'entered the next door/world" the way this holy Tzaddik did!
ps In our bookshelf there is a whole section filled with at least 26 volumes of Matok MiDvash. Just gazing at them (with the volumes closed!) is a balm to my soul!
Bracha
Bracha,
No, I did not hear how he passed to the next world. I look forward to your explanation. Thanks.
