Rav Arush: Mashiah Coming Soon So Do Teshuva Now Before Gates Close
First on Shirat Devorah and later clarified by R' Lazer Brody:
Rav Shalom Arush, the Rosh Yeshiva of the Breslover Chut Shel Chesed Yeshiva, said that a hidden tzaddik told him that Mashiah will be here soon, and as such, people should start to do Teshuva immediately in order that they will not be stuck with Mashiah coming and not having done Teshuva. When Mashiah comes, the gates of Teshuva will be closed, he said.
(The idea of "no Teshuva after Mashiah" is a complicated concept. It stems from the gemara in Shabbat 151b and the Maharil. See more about it here and here [in Hebrew]).
The tzaddik nistar also told him that there is a harsh decree in heaven that 3 million unarmed Arabs will march on Yerushalayim on the 21st of Elul, which we must pray to be rescinded.
As a result of this news, Rav Arush is taking this seriously enough to have the boys in his Yeshiva doing Kiruv projects in place of afternoon seder.
(Somewhat related, see the gematria on the Muqata blog about the upcoming UN vote and the comments there.)

A little birdie told me that it wasn't just one tzadik who told him, it was two of them.
As you obviously don't want your sources revealed, can you at least say (if you know) whether the second person was a known tzaddik or was he also a hidden tzaddik like the first?
the birdie says the second was also a nistar
so were were the mekubalim coming from ??and did thay say 5772 war
thay were 2 nistar any more info those nistar said for 5772
rav daniel zer also said something
Help! A wolf!
;(
As opposed to the boy who cried wolf, there is only positive from getting people to do teshuva now regardless.
If it blunts the message for subsequent times, then at least there's hesech hada'at.
The clarified article says that the date pointed out is Not the last time to do teshuvah.
Arabs plan to march up Jerusalem on that date sep 20, so we should pray nothing happens.
Moshiach is coming soon, we just don't know how soon. But we need to do teshuva beforehand
Don't get me wrong. I think it is positive as well.
As each leader, one by one, endorses this nonsense, the hamon am might get the sense that they should not be following apocalyptic leaders in general. Rather, they should be following established talmidei chachamim who usually guide their community.
(This is the second Tzaddik Nistar message I've been exposed to in the past two weeks. The only previous Tzaddik Nistar I remember was the one who persuaded Nava to move to Israel before Sivan a few years ago, because afterwards it would be too late! And this story has two tzaddik nistars attached to it. It is surely a wonder, how hidden tzaddik are known by people as hidden tzaddikim.)
Negative Decrees and prophecies can get tore up or delayed at anytime through Tshuva, Tzedakka, Tefilla, so any negative decree pronounced by a tzadik/nistar is conditional at most.
Right.
Similarly, any lunatic can present himself as a tzaddik nistar and make predictions of negative decrees and prophesies, and what it fails to materialize, people will continue to believe him to be a tzaddik nistar.
Of course, this 'decree' was pronounced explicitly conditional.
here, btw, is the background for this prediction:

As a former police officer we had a term we applied to conclusions we made after every aspect of a crime had been examined and looked at from every angle: 'The totality of the circumstances.' This applies to what's going on in the middle east. The Muslims telegraph their punches. They have big mouths. Yeah, the you-know-what is going to hit the fan this September. This is a surprise? Tshuva is good all the time, Hashem never said "Return to me and I'll return to you"(then like the trailer on a car ad read super fast) "Offer expires September 22nd. Offer valid inside and outside the land of Israel and throughout the diaspora except Vermont and Louisiana, Vanuatu and the Indian Islands....."
