Cosmic Clock:
About Me
- Name: yaak
- Location: Physically, Chicago, but Libi BaMizrah
Who is "yaak"? I'm a half-Sepharadi, half-Ashkenazi, Haredi Zionist. I hope that clears it all up. :-) I went to a Haredi elementary school, a mixed Haredi/modern high school, Haredi Yeshiva in Israel, and back to a mixed Yeshiva after that. I have a masters degree in computer science and Semicha. BA"H Mash'ala, I'm married to a wonderful wife with 6 great children. Hoping to meet each one of my readers in Yerushalayim when we are Olim LeRegel there very soon...

What is the translation?
"So, where are you on Shabbat?"
"Page 26b" (a reference to the page in gemara Mesechet Shabbat)
The real question is: Where will you be when "SANDY's" long range effects hit CHICAGO !! Winds from Lake Michigan Waves 22-25 Ft, wind gusts 55 plus mph.
SANDY Tracking
For some reason, your version is missing the driver's incredulous response (in hebrew): "I'm only up to "Bameh madlikin" ("with what do we light")??!!". Ie. she's already advanced to gemorah, and he's just started mishnah...
Neshama, it was quite windy last night!
Mordie, yes, I saw that version on Havolim. I might be wrong, but I'm guessing the version I was emailed is the original version, and someone else added the last line to the other version.
i think you can tell, because of the different font, that what you have (yaak) is the original, and someone added the last line to the other version.
