they talk about mass immigration of jews to israel!
University of Utah scientists recently determined that there’s twice as much magma below the Yellowstone super volcano as they found in a 2004 study.
;-)
Time to leave all of these homosexual marriage/ Civil Union States. If you can't make Aliyah, at least move to Texas which would never even consider this. Immerse yourself in a place where you are surrounded by righteous gentiles in larger numbers than any of these "dreg" States. Of course 80 or 90% of American Jews like living in the "dreg" States.
Dallas and Houston have thriving Jewish communities. At least consider them.
Because living in tel aviv where you have gay marriage parades is SO much better than the states where at least you don't have that. You may have idiots pining for gay marriage but at least you don't see them making a parade out of it.
Genoism: You have never studied Sefer Tuv HaAretz. Eretz Yisrael absorbs all these sins unlike other lands. HaShem himself will cut out the Cancer of Jews parading around with their lovers of the same sex. The situation outside of EY is quite different. It is a makkah ve'patish to start giving these abomination certificates for lands outside of EYisrael. The holiness of EYisrael draws HaShem nearer for a more precise surgery. In New York, Baltimore, Boston, and Chicago the surgery will not be so precise. Watch out for the scalpel. Or make it easier on yourself, and find better gentile neighbors in States that have not lost all their marbles yet.
I live in NJ, and in a city with a fairly large jewish community. At this point in time it is best for a person to live where he feels he will grow the most. Telling jews to go to israel doesn't work for everyone. People who make little money, are in debt, have kids cannot simple get up and move. This is the majority of jews. The rich can move like you say, most cannot. Most cannot simply learn hebrew and survive with little to no money while they learn and find a job.
Also, living in israel in a time where iran and neighboring countries are looking to invade is a danger to ones life. The Torah commands that we do what we can to avoid being put in a situation such as this. Prayer and doing the mitzvos is one of them, but we are required to live in a safe place as well. Israel is not one of them.
In addition what Genoism said and to those poster who post Moishala crying posts for the United States to pack bags
Prophetic Visions
“Behold, the day of Gd will come… I will gather all the nations to Jerusalem for battle and it will be captured, its homes plundered and its woman abused; half its inhabitants will be evicted but the other half will not… (Zecharya 14:2)
“It will be a time of suffering that has never been, from the birth of our Nation up until this time…” (Daniel 12:1)
The prophet Zecharya describes the gentile nations’ successful conquest of Israel and its capital city, Jerusalem, after which they will neutralize its government and inflict severe pain and suffering upon the Jews. This is the period which the prophet Daniel foresaw as being the harshest period in the Jewish Nation’s history.
The early commentaries explain[1] that only “half its inhabitants will be evicted” because a bitter internal conflict will erupt among the Muslim and Christian conquerors, which will disrupt a campaign of persecution against the Jewish inhabitants. Gd will then visit harsh retribution upon the marauders, until they are finally destroyed.
Yehezkel’s Vision
“And Gd spoke to me saying… turn towards Gog, the land of Magog… and prophesize as follows: So says Gd, sovereign of the world… I will awaken in you [Gog] a strong desire to leave your country – you and your entire army…the nations Paras, Kush and Put accompanying you…and many other nations as well…to converge upon the land recently inhabited by the Jews who have gathered and returned from their many countries of exile to dwell among the mountains of the land of Israel that have always laid desolate…you will ascend upon them as a shoah (a sudden, deafening, dense darkness) covering the land like a tremendous cloud.” (Yehezkel 38:1-9)
It emerges from Yehezkel’s prophecy that the war will be instigated by Gog Umagog, who will convince the other nations of the world to come forth and invade Israel. The primary motivation behind this initiative, the commentaries explain, will be not to harm the Jews living in Israel, but rather to wrest control of the land from them and divide it among several nations. However, once they conquer the land, the invading armies will viciously persecute its Jewish inhabitants[2] [3].

The "severe" pain occurred during the Shoah for Jews committed to be here, and Jews SHOULD be committed to be here even if they cannot for whatever legitimate reason. The City was fully divided once already in this Jewish Century the 5700s. It surely does not have to happen a 2nd time. Forget about negative prophesies don't have to happen. This one has ALREADY occurred albeit with the Jordanian Arab Legion and not with the "nations of the world". And if you don't want to be in the middle of the action that is coming very soon, move to Tzfat or BeerSheva which won't be divided under any circumstance. 100 years ago a Jew could legitimately say that it is not time to be here. There are now 6 million Jews here, hmm 6 million. The circumstances obviously have changed if you can somehow swing it. Plus consider that for those who are given the opportunity to be here, this generation is likely a test for desiring NOT to be here at a time in the distant past when we were a wandering desert folk.
Geonism: I think that I mentioned Texas. Why not move to Texas if you cannot afford to come to Israel? New jobs are plentiful in Texas, compared to New York or Chicago where new jobs are a rarity. Yes, they have mikva'ot in Dallas and Houston, and Jewish schools too. Survival provisions in a country location are another matter worth considering, but the practical aspects of preparing for what will SURELY come within two years or less are best done in places where the majority of non-Jews fear G-d. And you won't find such places on the Eastern seaboard or in Northern Illinois.
Sorry: Genoism not Geonism...unless you might be a Ga'on too?
It's easy to tell someone to move. Especially to places where one does not even live(ie. texas). How do you know that my community is worse than texas? Honestly, the fact that you keep telling me to move without knowing a single thing about me or where I live speaks volumes about you. The place I live is probably one small step below living in Monsey, NY. And you probably haven't ever been there but I have and my Rebbe lives there. That area is 100x more religious than any place I've been to when I lived in Israel. The women dress modestly, the area feels like Shabbos on Shabbos. I'm not saying that any place is better than Israel. But given the current circumstances, Israel is hardly the best place to be.
Additionally, its very easy to claim that a certain prophecy pre-messianic times has occurred, but the fact is that you are not a leading Rav of our generation to be able to claim such a thing. There may easily be another 20+ major wars threatening to wipe out all Jews before the year 6000. And I can promise you that with each and every one of them someone will always claim that Moshiach is a few months away.
In fact, during the holocaust every religious jew was pretty certain that moshiach was going to arrive at any moment, the shofar would be heard around the world any second. It wasn't. But they all were so absolutely positive because of all the prophecies that seemed to match up with the events at that time almost perfectly.
I have been following you for quite some time. You may have noticed that virtually every year for the past decade some Rav or another gives "proof" that moshiach is coming that year. Well its been many years of "Ok this time is for real guys he's coming this year!" and you know what, still no Moshiach.
Fact is, moshiach will arrive when people do not expect him to. Not you, not me, not anyone.
That said, please understand that I very much WANT to live in Israel. But my financial situation and absolutely TERRIBLE lack of ability to learn new languages restrict me.
well Dov

I posted that as anon, not Genoism, you tell to everybody where to move,
save yourself first, then others.. You don't know what are you talking about.

Listen, I like Gov. Chris Christie too. He has many good qualities....even if he encouraged a lot of people to vote for Obama right after Hurricane Sandy by heaping praise on that wicked man.
You decide if your community in New Jersey which does not require a commute into New York is full with a majority of righteous gentiles. I have been to Passaic et Yadecha, New Jersey too. It also has its problems with non-Jews as in New York. Jersey is a Gay Civil Union State too and will likely swing over to Gay Marriage in a snap when the opportunity avails itself...as is the case in Illinois. Look for states where the definition of marriage is one man/ one wife..or one man/ many wives embedded in the State Constitution. This was the case in Missouri when back in about 2007, 71% of Missourians enshrined that fact in the State Constitution. At least you know that 71% of the state population have not entered bizarro world.
According to the Vilna Ga'on the Great Shofar of Ingathering was blown in 5750/ 5751, 3/4 of the way through the 6th Millennium or High Noon on Yom Shishi. Some of us heard it and some of us did not. When Gog Bush Sr. lead an international coalition against Bavel, but did NOT enter Batzrah Jews were ingathered from the North and the South at the same time...along with a lot of goyim too because the Erev Rav wanted to come along with.
What does Christie have anything to do with this? I know as much about that guy as I do about my non-jewish neighbors, which is nothing. I spend little time following politics save for what others bring to my attention.
I don't trust christie, obama or netanyahu or anyone that has less knowledge of the torah than a 5yr old.
While you are right that a person should not live in an immoral place, it is hard to say which places are not immoral anymore. Where one area may have gays another has theivery, where one place has no theives another has adultry. Unless it is obvious that a particular area is immoral it is near impossible to choose to live in one area over another.
Right now where I live, I have a good job B"H, and I have the ability to be a part of a great jewish community.
Hashem will not wipe out tzaddikim outside of Israel because Dov Bar-Leib said move now or face the wrath of Hashem. Hashem said he will bring us to Israel when the time is right. He didn't say he will wait for us to make the move ourselves. We are in galus because we don't deserve the land. Well, when we deserve it we can move back.
With all due respect to the Vilna Gaon, the shofar that announces the arrival of Moshiach is to be heard by the entire world, followed by his immediate arrival.
Dov, don't think I'm attacking you. Its rare that two people should have a discussion on the internet these days and not resort to threats and curses....so cheers!
The problem with a "great job" right now in the US is that the money supply has tripled in the last five years as Federal Debt for the fiat dollar has increased from nine or ten trillion dollars to over 17 trillion dollars. The US dollar against the shekel has fallen between 20 and 25%. The only thing that has prevented a tripling in prices in the US is the unusual circumstance of Zero Percent Target interest rate during that time period. So money is flying out of America at the same time that it is being created out of thin air. As soon as the Fed is forced by circumstances beyond its control to raise target interest rates above its bargain basement 0%, that money will flow back into America like a torrent and prices will double or triple overnight. Then that "good job" paying 60,000 dollars/ year will suddenly buy only 20,000 dollars worth of goods. And then hyperinflation will set in because of fear and panic. Are you prepared for this eventuality? Have you made preparations for when this will surely occur? I pray that people might know enough basic Economics 101 to realize the imminence of this happening is within the next 2 years or less.
Cheers or Prepare, whatever suits your fancy.
The best part about being a Jew is that we don't have to worry about money. All our parnasha gets determined on Rosh Hashana. If the economy crashes and Hashem wants me to starve it doesn't matter if I'm the richest most powerful man on earth, I will starve and I will be poor. If he wants me to have a good meal for shabbos, a warm home to live in and money to pay for all my expenses, it doesn't matter if I have the worst paying job in the world. I will have all that. Where the economy goes matters little to me. I learned a long time ago to trust Hashem when it comes to money. There have been times in my life where I had no more than ~$100 in my bank account and needed to pay about $2000 of bills and B'H miracle after miracle it all worked out. This has happened to me many times in my life where I did not have the money but told myself, don't worry Hashem will provide. Lo and behold he did. There was not once in my life that Hashem was not there for me when I needed him badly.
we are prepared, I packed my bags, Mashiah suit is on the top.

I am going to Rav Arush event now in brooklyn, NY. I will try to ask him some questions , I did not make appointment to him , hopefully I can ask at least 1 question regarding what Rav Lyubovitz said about United States
--Moshe
It was big event and a lot of people were there. It was amazing emuna shiur and he finish by 11:30 PM. After that everybody went to him to get brahot. I did not have chance to ask him, but my friend from my kollel had personal meeting with him. I told him if he can have a chance to ask that question. B'H" I will see him tomorrow morning.
I did not see my friend today, may be tomorrow I will see him.
To those Moishala posters, you are not fighting for the truth, you only see one side of a coin and not posting mines like you are 100% correct, shame
My friend asked rav Arush about that question regarding danger in America. He answered that: "Nothing to worry about. Jews are scattered all of the world and will survive. "
This coming Tuesday is the great day for special tikkun who knows the secret how and how to make it. Who don't know ask you rav.
This tuesday morning during the time of 9th year, 9th month, 9th day, 9th hour, the time that mesugal for Shefa for the next 50 years!
