Who is "yaak"? I'm a half-Sepharadi, half-Ashkenazi, Haredi Zionist. I hope that clears it all up. :-) I went to a Haredi elementary school, a mixed Haredi/modern high school, Haredi Yeshiva in Israel, and back to a mixed Yeshiva after that. Mashiach is watching!
We do now know a certain thing, the fact that Geulah started on Rosh Hashanah 5776 in Jerusalem. Mashiach was sure at the Sha’ar Harahamim on 12 September 2015, for the Day of Judgement has to start from there. Knowing such an important thing we can make correlations with other Torah data, although we don’t pretend to utter prophecies, but be accurate enough to see the development of events.
It is not by chance that great Rabbis talk now extensively about the fundamental issues in Judaism, the existence of Mashiach right now in the world and his coming. They too make realistic correlations seeing what is currently happening in Israel, the scenario of progress of Geulah and the clear signs of Mashiach fighting the wars of Hashem.
The War of Gog and Magog will be protracted. People of Israel who listen to the words of Hashem should prepare themselves to survive, although their lives are in Hashem’s hands. But still does matter if they store some food and water and know the instructions what to do in the case of nuclear attacks. The Jewish children have to know as well. Shema Israel!

Because men want to play war games, children and women are raped, murdered and pulverized with their mighty weapons of mass desruction. They push buttons and destroy worlds. Others play war games of words to instill fear and dread in the hearts of people, and this too has its role, for the negative energy is what they feed on.
Death is a portal. Who by fire, who by water and who by nuke and who by causing grief with their words, instead of uplifting them in their time of need and sorrow. There is enough strife, create the peace you desire - if you desire.
The current mankind is no longer relevant. It doesn't have gratitude toward its Creator. Why should such humanity continue to exist? People are killing each other with guns and bombs, others are yielding knives to kill. Hashem has started the great cleaning of the world. So be it!
