Rav Yoram Abergel ZT"L
Rav Yoram Abergel ZT"L, the head of the Rav Pa'olim institutions, has passed away. His efforts in enhancing Judaism and bringing the masses to Teshuva are legendary.
There was a strong friendship between Rav Abergel ZT"L and Rav Ovadia Yosef Shlit"a.
One of his sons eulogized him saying: "The rabbi brought the Redemption closer with mercy. All the time, he brought the Redemption closer..."
According to Kooker, he supposedly predicted the Redemption to come on Asara Betevet of this year. (h/t Mashiach Is Coming)
May this prediction pan out to be correct and may Hashem comfort Kelal Yisrael.

It should be mentioned that R' Abergel, a"h, in 5766-2006 signed the psak din that the Lubavitcher Rebbe is Moshiach.

It should be noted that most signatures on the proclamation are fraudulent

it could have been that Lubavitcher Rebbe was Moshiach but then maybe something changed in shamayim.
maybe a din got changed. who knows.
same could be true of 10th of Tevet. maybe it's a decree but maybe it can be changed.
and maybe Rav Abergel passed away at the age of 58 because he revealed a potential date...which could be ONE of the dates that Moshiach could come.
there's stuff we don't know that very special people know, and we shouldn't be so quick to dismiss it all.
