Kinneret Miracles

Source: savethekinneret.com

The graph above shows the Kinneret water level as of April 1st, 2019.  The leftmost part of the graph was from 2007, the middle, where it's at its highest was in May of 2013, and the rightmost part of the graph is its current level.  For even further historical data see here and here.

Note the steady decline for the past few years from 2013-2018.  On December 5th, 2018 (only 4 months ago), the Kinneret was at its lowest point in years: -214.66 meters below sea level.  This was below the black line (the line that denotes a point in which pumping water would cause damage to the water supply).  The situation was so dire that there were plans to bring water from reservoirs via pipes, to limit water consumption, and to build more desalination plants.

Came along the rains this year which we prayed for:
ותן טל ומטר לברכה על כל פני האדמה ורוה פני תבל

And the line has gone almost vertical since December 5th.  It's already longer than the line in 2013 and we're just in the beginning of April.  And then there's this report from United With Israel:
Weather that is seemingly more conducive for Israeli winters has spilled into April.

The good news is that this means rising water levels for Lake Kinneret, which is another name for the Bible’s Sea of Galilee and the country’s only freshwater source, according to the Environmental Protection Ministry.

Lake Kinneret has risen 15 centimeters since Thursday and is now 316 centimeters below its maximum level, says the Globes business news outlet, citing the Israel Water Authority. According to this report, the lake is likely to fill up completely as the heavy snows melt on the peak of Mount Hermon through the spring.
The Globes article is here.

If this is true, and may it be so, the water level will have gone from below the black line to the upper red line in one winter.  That's truly miraculous.
