"I hate all chareidim" - I really can't blame here for saying that. Unfortunately I see so many reasons why to hate chareidim more then other Jews, and why to hate Jews mroe then others. It's how the world is today, in galus.
Yes, we have a core mitzvah of ahavas Yisreol, but this Lt. Col. doesn't know about it, which is a rachmanus for her.
The Valley of Yehoshafat is the Jordan Valley, where the international troops will try to gather...for judgement, unless you have another source that says it is elsewhere. It seems to be in line with what the Targum Yonatan says about the last things that Moshe Rabeinu saw at the end of his life.
I think that the whole Har Meggido placement of these end times troops is a Xtian doctrine. This would explain why the Ba'al Kerry thinks that he is NOT fulfilling an apocalyptic prophesy by sending troops. He believes in the wrong valley! Or perhaps he is just an idiot like Lurch, his look-alike. I will choose the former even if he does look like Lurch.
